As you can probably tell by the time (0200), I'm at work - suprized that I can get Sparkpeople on a work computer! I'm finally having a night where I have a few minutes to myself - both of my patients are resting comfortably and meds and labs are due in a couple hours. I think I've gone above and beyond for my patient here- CP/MR, blind, deaf, multiple abdominal surgeries and issues this past month and I've been able to keep him very comfortable and calm by 'knowing' what works with this patient. The family asks for me, so I've been the nurse every time I'm working for the past 4 weeks. It's a ton of work, but I'm going Above and Beyond for this patient.

Yesterday, I bought myself tennis shoes & a pedometer. I really didn't want to spend the money right now,as I am between jobs, but a wise friend encouraged me to get the shoes. She knew that by having something comfortable to wear I was more likely to train with my church's 1/2 Marathon group.
The pedometer was something that I like to use,the free ones always seem to get lost. This one clips on the waistband in 2 places,so hopefully I discover that it has came off before both clips release.
