dress in layers - i've kept running down to -10F. i wear ice bugs, which are studded running shoes (like studded tires), and heavy winter weight pants from REI, and my underarmour shirt with another fleece layer (heavy weight for the coldest weather, lighter for warmer cold weather) on top. gloves. hat over ears, and something to pull up over my mouth and nose when it's really cold.
but it is doable! i like the description below of two shorter, one longer run...
