I'm not heard of it there but a friends grandchild was just born with an extra knuckle in his toe. They will do surgery when he is about 5 to remove it. His big brother and father all have that.
does anyone else have this kind of 'bone' at the side of the foot too? i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/FitMo
yOf2/Blogpics009-1.jpg I know, it looks kinda freaky but I've had it all my life (and so does my father.., so I know it's just a genetic thing). Unfortunately it starts bothering me as soon as I start running/jogging... I went to see a doc about it and he said probably a different kind of shoe would be the only solution... (No x-rays or anything were made of the foot at that time!)
Now I've bought a new pair of running shoes that are even supposed to be better for supporting the mid foot strike etc. and both of my feet felt great while running! But towards the end the left one already started bothering me and I'm honestly worried about how it's going to be if I run 3x week from now on!...
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
PS: We're currently living overseas and not in the US! Stores specifically for runners where they analyze your stride etc. is not an option here! Just wanted to mention it!
