pancakes and a banana... and a coffee!! I won't eat anything different then I normally eat either, plus I get up extra early to let things digest etc.

Short Race: nothing for me... Long Race (13.1Miles) - Banana (always!), yogurt and granola or oatmeal with brown sugar. I like a coffee too! All of this at least 2 hours before the start... so I have time for the ladies!

I know they say don't eat fiber before a run/race. But I always eat a high fiber healthy cereal with milk and it works great for me. I eat a lot of fiber anyway so my body it probably more used to it than someone that doesn't eat a lot of fiber.
