Because of my comp being down and Still being a girl who needs to track her food dilligently I ended up gaining half the weight I lost back. but did I give up? did I say whats the point? No! I got back on the horse did my strength training and then raced my sisters dog lady bird through the yard. By the way don't try to beat a dog in a race if she can win against a race horse lol.

I hit Onederland and am seriously reevaluating some eating and exercise practices. My body is somewhat older than my stated almost 50 and I have either not been eating enough or exercising too much, because I've been sleeping away most of my day several days a week. I am considering other possibilities, like anemia, or even sleep apnea, but I'm asking for prayer for wisdom to find the problem.

I've upped my exercise minutes, did 2000 this month and at a higher intensity. I've also been gazing into the mirror and telling myself how pretty I am. I'm playing with cosmetics trying to find the right colors. Actually, I'm having fun. My Avon lady loves me, because I keep ordering new things. LDrichel woke me up to my need for new shoes. If I'm going to walk so much at my weight, I can't wear the same shoes forever. So I bought 2 pair at Big 5 for under $40 total. Tublady would be proud of me.
So am I. And I've been wearing 8 1/2 Wide for a long time and today the regular 8 1/2s fit me. WooHoo!!!!

I started Walking Across the US. I'm bit by bit up to 36.3 miles. It may take me years, but I really enjoy posting those few miles each day. I had my first massage this morning. It left me full of energy. Since I've been pretty tired and lazy the last 3 days, this was wonderful. I lost 4 more pounds. I think that makes 8 for August so far.

Even though the; heat wave the doctors orders, extreme (for me) humidity, evil cat, failing airconditioner, addition of a new inner demon,and all the rest that was put against me I have not given up! Two months of annoying hell and I am still here. I am still losing weight. I am still getting healthy! I might of not of won all the battles, But I can and do claim total victory!!!

Today I didn't stress eat due to the emergency procedures on my DH's eye. Hoping this will work that was done today and they don't need to operate on his eye tomorrow. No exercise but no binge eating either.

Had an amazing week of running/walking as well as with a great weight routine. I was tempted to step on the Wii board and see if my weight has changed but I resisted. I want my reward on the first of the month - LOL

I am so pleased with myself because now when I have plans with friends, I work it so that I can get my workout in rather than blow it off because of other plans. Now it feels like not going on a run or doing my weights is kinda like not brushing my teeth. Just feels wrong.

I'm finding that instead of putting things off, I'm often just going ahead and doing them. There's a lot more "Just do it." in me. I like this. I'm beginning to like the way I look. I'm more careful with the way I dress. I am taking better care of myself. I'm still working at getting that exercise in. I don't have trouble motivating myself to walk, but when walking is painful, I have trouble motivating myself to do alternatives. That will be my project starting now. I love this challenge. emoticon

I bought a caliper at GNC so I could measure body fat. I am done with the scale and plan to use the body fat calipers to measure progress. Will share as this progresses.
I bought new pajamas because I realized that I had not had any definite pajamas since I was a child.... just old t-shirts.
I did yard work for about 3 hours this AM. Felt great to be outside. It was only 75 degrees here this AM.

I selected clothes carefully, wore make-up, had accessories, did hair before going on errands and visiting Mom in a nursing home. (Mom's comment was that my brown t-shirt didn't go with blue denim capris.....she's 91. We had a fun discussion about that. I told her she was wrong. :-) Gotta love those Moms.

I quit some teams that no longer seem appropriate for me.
