Thanks everyone. I'm not going anywhere but I am going to cut back on the pressure I put myself thru. I try to do too much too fast and it just gets to be too much for me. Anyway I've updated my spark page if you'd care to read it. Thanks for all the support.
Vicki, You do what you need to do for you. I limit my postings on my teams to once daily & I only post on those teams that I get the best response. (has the best team camaraderie) Hugs to you & I am with you on whatever decision you make.

It can get overwhelming depending on how you use it. I did step back a couple of times as well as it was just taking way too much time just to post on the threads. I did and still do belong to probably way too many teams and while I love the people in them, some of them just may not be the right fit. I am also not wanting to drop out as I will miss the people. Once you get too involved it seems to be a total pull of energy and then you do not get out what you need. What you need to do is really look hard at what you are doing and then focus on that. I will stay in Sparkpeople because of the challenges from some of my teams and not the 'diet'. Being pushed to exercise is what I really need from this and other teams I am on.
I will totally understand if you leave....funny too because I know of at least one team I joined because of you. You need to do what is right for you. If you do decide to leave but want someone to still encourage you let me know.

I am having a huge struggle right now and that's in staying in sparkpeople. Sparkpeople is terrific and I think it helps thousands of people every day. But I'm thinking that maybe for me, I need to step back from things like this. I know I've left sp a number of times and have come back but I really wonder if it's helping me, being here, or if it just keeps me more focused on the "diet" instead of the healthy living I'm working towards. I feel it's more of a crutch at this point for me.
