Thanks for the link. That was an interesting article. I know i do better when I weigh in daily. I think that the daily feedback works for me. And when I'm trying to lose weight, it's nice to see the scale reflect my efforts, even if I just stay the same, or even if I just lose .2, it makes me want to keep going.

I do have to realize though that sometimes when it's up a bit I have to take it in stride and realize that it may be the time of the month, how much sodium i had the day before, or other factors that are affecting the weight, and not take it too seriously. When that is the case, I try to look at the weight over the course of a week, and usually, that shows improvement, even if there were a few bumps up during the week.

I believe that daily weigh ins do work for some people. When I feel like I am backsliding, I get weighed every day, and it really does help to keep me on track!! But I do stick to my official weigh in day, which is always Fridays. The other weigh ins are strictly for my information only. I only count the Friday one for my logs.

I read an article on sparkpeople that changed my outlook on daily weigh-ins.

While some will argue that daily weigh-ins are not good, I can honestly say that its has save me.
If you weigh-in daily you are more app to catch yourself gaining then if you weigh-in only once a month. I have posted a link to a very interesting article by Nicole Nichols.
