I plan to do 3 5K's and 1 10K (Black Girls Run-Charlotte September 8). I plan to workout at least 3 times a week and do my best to eat better and lose some pounds along the way. I have a long hard road ahead, but I am determined to finish the race.

As I'm healing from my injuries I'm going to re-incorporate strength training 3-4 days a week. I've been only doing a variety of cardio on a daily basics. I've decided to start a Bucket List for next year and a half marathon will be on my list to complete.
Progress may be slow, but it happens! No such thing as last place only finishers.
Right now, my focus is my training for my half marathon in November. I currently doing along with my runs T25 as well as JNL Fusion for strength training. I will probably do Insanity again later on this year: November & December.

Get and stay trained up for half marathons and use yoga as a cross train. Also, I will dance to just about anything!

You are gonna love INSANITY!! I bought it and started it right away; when I did the fitness test, I had sweat dripping from my hair and everything. OMGosh! I was so stoked and felt so strong...in just 2 weeks I could visibly see how much stronger I was than the first day. Now, my goddaughter has my set (because I'm too lazy right now to be INSANE) and she's lovin' it!
My plan is to get my running more consistent over the next three months and then add my HipHopAbs dance jam back into the mix. I can't really hold the tilt-n-tuck position like I should, but I enjoy the dance moves I think I'm doing!
