I am now natural although my profile picture is not my other post are all me. I love being natural. I have had a natural for 4 years before locs just recent though and I love it. I think I'll stick with it because it's less stress for me especially for running!

Been natural always on the nails - I tried acrylic once and boy did it do a job on my real nails. So never again. My nails grow in cycles and grow very long then of course start breaking and I cut them all and start all over again. And really that cycle depends on what I am doing - gardening, volleyball all fingernail hating activities
My hair - natural since 2005 and loving it. Yep major work detangling etc but I would never go back. My sister just pulled out a picture of way back when I had a permed short haircut - it was the bomb (ok sorry that was me loving me), but the haircut was nice.
So there you have my story

I'm relaxed. I try to stay away from heat as much as possible. I go to the salon to get relaxed but usually let my hair airdry and style it in a protective style. If anyone has tips/suggestions/advice for relaxed hair..Please feel free to do so :) I have thought about going natural but not quite ready yet. As far as nails, I only get them done for special occassions like weddings, birthday, etc.

I've bee natural for about 2.5 years. I miss shorter, wash and go hair. Especially with the New Orleans humidity! Most of the time I wear twists so I'm pretty low maintenance. I work out more now than I ever have and I don't think I would've ever become so active and carefree if I had tried to maintain relaxed hair.

I'm natural....I haven't had a relaxer in 13 months. I decided if I'm getting my body healthy & natural...I should do the same for my hair. I have to wash my hair every time I run, which is challenging.......but it comes with the territory.

I've been natural two years with locs which I interlock myself. I pretty much get up and go with them. I work at home but if I'm going somewhere special, I rollerset them while damp and the curls last about 5 days.Very little product use.
My nails are also natural.

I thought about going natural, and tried it for a few months. I went back to getting my hair relaxed. This is the only girlie thing I do. I do not get my nails done, not a big fan of shopping for shoes or clothes. Now let me loose in a sporting goods store...I could fill the shopping cart in no time.
