That is amazing! I'm impressed you have all 13 planned out with quite a few months to go! Great planning for your 13 runs.

I have Pig Run For The Kids tomorrow. 5K with 400 runners. I picked up 15 packets for our local registered BGR runners. More picked up their own so we have great turnout.

I earned an age-group award at my race last Saturday-my first!

Happy running this weekend!

I'm sure I'll be doing a Thanksgiving run also. Last year I did two Turkey Trots, we had a local one here for the first time and about a dozen BGR came to support. This year I'm going to try helping to orginizing the local 5K.

Bet of luck FitWithin... I'm sure your training has you set to beat last year's time.

I too keep a Thanksgiving Day run on my schedule. It's a good way to give back to my community since race proceeds go to our local food bank and it preps me for a great meal post run.

No matter how slow you go, you are lapping those on the couch.

My first race will be in April. My goal is to bet my time from last year and not come in last place. My sister will be running with me.

Progress may be slow, but it happens!

The Dirty Girl Run sounds like a mud run. Turkey Trot- that's looking ahead lol.

We have very high temps and humidity in Central Florida. Last 5K is in May. Last year I started my Marathon training in June. Whew. It was hot and didn't getter better.

I have a couple of up coming races this year, Fight Children Cancer 5k, Emma's 5k Run, The Dirty Girl Run, The Turkey Trot & the PHX 10k Run.

We don't have many races in the summer because it gets to be over 100 degrees. So I have a huge break from April until November.

Thanks. Best of luck to you. I couldn't find that app on iPhone but I'm pretty set with my calendar. I was looking over my 5Ks and they have the most interesting names: Pig on the Pond, Bark in the Park, Run Around the Lake, Run Around the Garden. I'm also scheduled for a cruise with a fun run 5K.

Who else here has upcoming races?

Best of luck, Paula. I hear Princess is so much fun. Many of our Houston group will be heading to Myrtle Beach as well.

I also keep my races on my paper planner as well as my outlook calendar for reminders!

I have a race coming up this weekend, Disney Princess Half Marathon. Orange Blossom Half is a week after that, then my next will be Divas Half Marathon in North Myrtle Beach. Some 5Ks in between. I try to stay close to home but will take an occasional girls road trip to a race.

I usually put races in a planner and also on my smartphone. Many times I'll even keep track even if I'm not runnig it just so I can accounce at our group runs.I'll have to check out that app, thanks.

Do you ladies have any upcoming races? Do you race locally or plan to travel to race? Do you use any apps to track your races or just a calendar?

I found "My Race Calendar" app for the Android and love it because I can list my run and bike races along with registration fees and it let's me set reminders.

My next 'big' races are: Zooma Texas Half March 23, Bay to Breakers 12K in SF May 19, Diva Half in Long Island Oct 6, Women's Half in Scottsdale Nov 3 and BCS Half in Bryan-College Station, TX Dec 8

No matter how slow you go, you are lapping those on the couch.
