My 2 cents is........set a goal, whatever goal. Gonna walk 30 min/3x week or I'm gonna drop soda for the week/month(soda is poison you should drop it forever...I'm just saying ;) or I'm gonna walk 5 min and run for 1 or I'm gonna faithfully track my food so I KNOW what is going in my mouth or I'm gonna read food labels on everything I buy and anything POISON I won't buy. Pick one..
Point is...set a goal, a realistic goal and do what you need to do to reach that goal. A measurable goal. If we don't have something to reach for, how can we press ourselves to strive forward.
This months goal of 70 miles was ambitious, I thought..but I got it and even bonus miles and I'm only the better for it. Had I not reached the goal would I be a complete failure...NO WAY...because 10 miles or 20 miles or 50 miles is better than ZERO miles and I would still be better for it!! So set a goal and work toward it!!
