I went to bed at 7 pm last night...... I'd get up off and on let the dogs out....... drink some more water....... go back to bed....... so I could attempt to breathe I put a vick rag on around my neck and vicks on my chest.... I do that as a last resort I feel so bad for the dogs the smell is probably so strong for them and their sensitative noses....... but I had to be able to try to breathe...... still taking OTC stuff...... all day yesterday I had water..... and about a half cup of lipton noodle soup......

Today I napped off and on most of the day....... I did make my ice tea for breakfast..... I had 3/4's of a pb & j sandwich........ and I ate a bowl of lipton noodle soup........ I'm feeling maybe slightly better but not good..... been coughing some today now.... ugh!!!!!

I barely feel like doing anything.... tired........ lots of sleeping...... thankfully my dogs don't protest and will nap with me......

Suz! You are pushing too hard and need to rest to give your body time to heal!
Those kids may be bringing illness from school to you!
The doggie Egg hunt sounds so fun!

Nellie...I know what you mean about waiting! I am at the Toyota place waiting for my car to have an oil change
Anytime I go to doctor I wait at least an hour to 3 hours just to get back to be seen! I have a 4pm appointment tonight with rheumatologist! Will check in and let you all know what she says!

After I get my car done I am taking my dad grocery shopping at the commissary! I hate that place...always packed and you can't find anything!

Tomorrow I take my mom out to get our nails done and eat lunch then to Walmart

Well the girls are here and staying longer.... till about 3:30 or so?? Their grandfather now has a kidney stone and their grandmother has 2 doctor's appointments this afternoon..... so their Mom is taking her to those appointments and she asked if the girls can stay...

I got very little sleep from 3:30 on........ I just couldn't breathe....my head is so stuffed up..... I'm exhausted and I've got a bit of a sore throat and coughing a little..... I am feeling pretty miserable.... hoping I can just let them watch cartoons and maybe catch a short nap on the recliner......

Sorry I've been MIA......... so busy with the girls and so tired!!!! Sunday I did try to rest up some but I'm fighting some sort of sinus/cold or something?

The girls came today at 8:30 and I had to have Abby to pre-school by 9 am....... then I had to go pick her up at 11:30....... then we came home and they wanted "dippy eggs" so I made them toast and dippy eggs......... then they put a treat in each of the plastic eggs and went out to "hide" them and we had an Easter egg hunt for the dogs........ ohhhhhhh my gosh what a fun time we had!!!!!!!

Then we took the boys for a 45 min walk and I didn't know if we'd make it..... we were all hot and tired until we got home........ then I made the a "mini" banana split..... I cut a banana in half .. gave them each half a banana and 1 scoop of ice cream and let them put on topping....

We were going outside to blow bubbles for the dogs when their Mom came....... sooo after they left I mowed the lawn for the first time this year........ I went out with the kids awhile....

I came in and got in the hot tub awhile before I fed the doggies and got a snack to eat...... then watched Dancing with the stars.......

Tired and going to bed..... the girls will be here at 8:30 again.........

This has been one of those days where I spent a fair amount of time in waiting rooms. I had a doctor's appointment, then had 2 chest X-rays over at the hospital and was told that I should call Respiratory Therapy tomorrow to make an appointment to have some before and after X-rays when I use my albuterol.

The doctor's assistant took my list of allergies and copied it so she could make sure they have all my allergies listed. I know that they don't!

You deserve to have a rest time after all that activity. Glad you had a good Easter.

It was beautiful here today...I sat out in the sunshine and read my book....I so enjoyed that. I love sun and fresh air...love being outdoors.
Tried to walk the yorkies but only made it around the block....stated feeling yucky. Not really pain so much as general yuck....and joint pain.

I see the rheumatologist Wednesday afternoon.....and also get my car maintenance done Wed morning.....
tomorrow no plans for now...I am waiting to see if my DIL wants me to watch my grandson Thursday as her mom is having surgery....

Hi there Girls---
We had a terrific week-end! But, an exhausting time up to it! What a price I paid!

I've come to a time in my life where I am going to have to make some decisions in my life. I guess a lot of people reach that stage.

So, I am asking for the rest of the week off!

Hugs,
Janet

Such a tragedy anytime losing children....but having them in the ice cold water drowsing is especially sad. Prayers for their families.

Happy easter everyone.

My pain is off the charts today...i forgot to put on a pain patch after my bath last night....so level is at a 10 now....but I took meds and pray to feel better in awhile so I can move some.

My yorkies HATE going out in the rain...i will put them out but they won't do their business..they just want to come back in. So i put a potty pad on the bcd porch on rainy days
.
Nellie...I use washable potty pads....they are awesome...as the disposable ones got really expensive. Now I only use the disposable for travel.

Praying for each of you to have a blessed and happy Easter.....

Nellie? I don't take mine out in the rain and I probably couldn't drag them out in the rain..... I do let them out to potty but then again I have my entire back yard chain link fenced and I have a pretty good size back porch....... I have old rugs that are laying on the porch and they will go potty on the rugs........ well usually Scruffy doesn't but the other 3 do......... mine hate getting wet ...... even their feet!

I took the nighttime Tylenol sinus stuff last night and it helped a little bit ..... I had set up to meet someone today in the little town just south of me where my parents live to pick up 2 items that I wanted from the yard sale face book site........ one is a card table that slides out to make a "double" table..... never saw one like that before but I wanted a cheap light weight card table something I could set up like at the Easter egg hunt or for a yard sale at the house...... or when I have BBQ's in the backyard for extra space to set the food....... and this looked really nice....... the other item was an electric keyboard...... I asked Becca if she had been practicing her piano lessons? and she said their keyboard they had was broke so she wasn't practicing.... I saw this one and could get it for $20 and it looked nice so I got it..

The guy selling the stuff was little more than a boy...... and they were late! They were to show at the meeting place at noon...... and at quarter after they called and said they were just leaving and would only be a few minutes.... he put the stuff in the car....... so then I went and had my hair done at the really good hair stylist and he braided it for me..... I went to the local pizza place and got the lunch special and then bought a cheese steak to bring home for my dinner....... I went to the local Food Lion to see if they had the treats the kids get at bedtime..... they didn't! grrrrrrrrrrrrr but I got some beggin littles thinking I'd have the girls put them into plastic eggs and they can hide them on Monday when they are here for the dogs to find them in the yard! LOL

I took the keyboard to the girl's house...... Becca was so excited she wanted to practice right away....... and when I got home and tried to get the card table out of the car I could barely move it! That table must weigh 50 lbs!!!!!!!!!! it's a VERY nice table and well made but also extremely heavy!!!! *sighs* so this isn't going to really help with what I wanted it for..... I'll never be able to carry this around and set it up! good grief!!!!

I came in and took a nap for awhile...... when I checked my porch for mail the filters came for the hot tub so I went ahead and put the new filter in and filled it up..... now it's turned on to heat the water........ it will take awhile..... the water was only 62 degrees and needs to get to 102........ Ladies I put my hand down in the water at 62 degrees it feels freezing...... those poor children on that ferry were in water that was only 50 degrees I can't even imagine! my heart breaks for all those parents losing their children knowing they may have been able to get off the boat if that nitwit captain hadn't told them to stay in their rooms!!!!!

Now that the hot tub is heating and I don't have to worry about the water running over the sides....... I'll probably take another nap......... lots of people were out mowing lawns today it's sunny and 65 here but there is a strong wind blowing and I sure don't want to go out long with my sinus issues!

Well I gotta feed the kids........ maybe I'll check back later........

Even if it is raining, I take my doggies out at least 7 times per day since I don't have a fenced in yard for them and I can't afford extra potty pads. However, I hold an umbrella over them, so they don't get tooooo wet. Cielito is funny in that when it is raining, he prefers to stay under the overhang of the roof. Faith hasn't caught on to that -- at least not yet.

Nellie....so sorry you are having such a hard time. My eldest son has asthma...he had it as an infant and we thought he had outgrown it but he hadn't. He has bad allergies also. Poor guy has a tough time.

Suz...hope you are feeling better today and that you get the rest you wanted to get.

It is rainy and grey and ugly here again today....ho hum. I am just relaxing and doing nothing....it feels good not to pressure myself to do anything. I seem to need a lot of rest these days.

Praying for you all to have a blessed and joyous Easter....
my yorkies are tired of the rain and not getting a walk in.....hopefully tomorrow it will be nicer out and I can get them out for a LONG walk. Willow gets restless if she doesn't walk....

I've had some kind of respiratory problem ever since the end of January. Your mentioning the bending down reminded me of when I bend down to feed or change potty pads, or any of the numerous things I do for my pets I get pain and pressure behind and next to my eyes. I am guessing the sinuses are objecting! Sometimes I get horrible drainage that is brilliant yellow. Also I am having asthma which I haven't had in about 7 years. Enough so that when I get a coughing fit it feels like I can breathe or that I am going to upchuck. I've been to the doctor's office 3 x already, but each time he had too many appts., so I got a PA. However, on Monday I do actually get to see him so I am going to give him the gory details and let him know the cortisone inhaler messed up my voice so much, my chore worker was teasing me about inhaling helium. Since I quit the cortisone inhaler, my voice is returning to normal and tonight at church, I was actually able to sing without sounding like a frog.

What was I doing? well I had the girls from 9 am until 7 pm.......... I cooked the 3 doz eggs Thursday night and then we colored all of them but I swear Abby had more of the dye on her than she got on the eggs!!!!! I actually scrubbed her with Dawn and one of those sponge scrubbies to get it off........ good grief!!!!!

Then they picked up more sticks........... and they went with me to 5 Below store......... then they decorated the Styrofoam egg shapes I painted pink for them........

They watched cartoons........... and went to play with the neighbor girl, Blaire..

My Dad came by to put 3 shelves in my hallway pantry..... I have tons of plastic storage stuff and I need a place to put it!!!! this half of the pantry had no shelves... now it does!

I felt miserable pretty much all day even though I didn't let on to the girls........ my stuffed up head hurt so bad I couldn't bend down or it just throbbed horrible.... I'm breathing thru my mouth I take OTC stuff but my head isn't opening........ I took a hot bath last night with dr teal's hoping it would help and it didn't so much...... ugh!!!!!

I get the girls again on Monday and Tuesday.........and their grandmother is getting the bone marrow transplant on May 7th....... so I'll probably be getting them more then

Saturday...... I plan to sleep!!!!!!

Suz..you are pushing too hard. I pray you don't get down even sicker.

Nellie...your easter plans sound nice.

I know Janet is having family and church going on.

I have no plans right now....today it is raining out and I am dealing with lots of fatigue. I slept a long long time and still feel like I am exhausted. The yorkies are being lazy as I am. We are snuggled under the heated throw.

I love willow trees (thus Willows name) and planted one in my back yard yesterday so the rain is watering it well for me. I have an area that has standing water which is damaging my fence...so the willow tree will LOVE being near that and will grow big and keep my ground dry. At my last house I had a wet area and planted a willow tree and it grew big soooo fast. This one is a big close to my house tho so we shall see if I guessed right in location. I want it close yet not on my house.....It has lots of room to grow yet....

I took my dad to Kroger and the drug store yesterday. He called and wanted to go. Today I am planning to rest and relax all day....and stay warm under the throw.
What are you all up to today?

My family doesn't do Easter meal and each time I say that Mom will call and say I think I'm going to bake a ham and not do anything special but come down and eat.....

I woke up not feeling well...... my head was so stuffed up again and my throat was sore.... I really didn't feel like getting up but the girls were coming........ they got here it was 8:30...... and their Mom said she'd get them at 1......

Becca and I made a "modified" French toast roll up receipe........ using a cherry cream cheese filling........ we each had 3 pieces ( they are slices of bread with crusts removed and rolled up with the filling and browned, then rolled in cinnamon sugar)........ Abby liked hers so well she was the 1st one finished and that NEVER happens!!!!! She's always the last one to finish eating!!! Becca didn't finish hers right away but went back and ate what was left.......

we colored my 6 eggs I cooked...... I had each of us decorate 2...... 1 burst open so it was cut up and added to the dog's dinner tonight.....

We watched a movie and they watched cartoons...... I cat napped off and on..... just so tired...
Their Mom didn't come until almost 5.......... and I told her to leave the 3 dozen eggs with me and I'd cook them tonight for us to color tomorrow.........

I'm to get the girls about 9 tomorrow and not sure when they are leaving....... she is taking her Mom to Hershey tomorrow...... we're to decorate the 3 dozen eggs.....

I've loved having the girls all week (well I didn't have them yesterday) but I am tired......

Brandon sent me a message saying he'd groom the kids on May 7th in the afternoon..... yipeee!

My first yorkie Missy used to love shiny things and her bows and would eat them if she could. She was always ok tho but it worried me. If I held her and had on a necklace she loved it as it was shiny. She would try to nibble it.

Lily wears a hairbow a lot but Willows hair is really fine and won't keep it in. Lily and Willow have totally different hair. Willows I keep long as it is soft and silky..and Lily I cut shorter as it is coarse and curly at times. Difference in breed standards I'm sure...Lily is CKC and Willow is AKC.
They are both beautiful to me...I adore them.

Anyway Nellie...I have to use rubber band bows as slumps won;t stay in. I don't let Lily wear one all the time as I am sure it itches and all..so I take it down at least every other day. Usually every night I take it off...but sometimes If I am out of town and busy I leave it in.

My pain level is high today. It has turned colder here and the sun is not out..there is a brisk breeze. I was able to walk 45 minutes yesterday but today I will hopefully at least make it around the block. Maybe I pushed to hard yesterday-not sure. I did some gardening too.

The girls are sleeping on the heated throw. It makes me wonder how we would survive without it.
I am so broke this month and have some bills and things I need but can;'t pay for....not sure what to do. My car needs maintenance as the light is on for it. Plus Willow is due shots the first of next month. I sure do wish the insurance people would send me a check..that would really help me...plus I could pay back my parents.

Today the termite inspector is coming around 2:30. Then I need to run to Petsmart and get some dog food...we are out. They like Royal canine for yorkies now. Hope it is a good one. I was giving it as a treat and they now won;t eat the wellness. Go figure.

Hope you all are staying warm....what rate your Easter plans? I don't have any.....just rest and relax. I do want to go to the base and walk in the woods there this weekend if I am up to it. We shall see. Plus I want to do some yard work.

Hugs,
Sarah

I am a little concerned about Faith. Earlier I caught her chewing on her hair clamp, and took it away and put it back in her hair. Usually it stays in for at least a couple of days. However, when I was about to take her out for her last potty break this evening, it was missing. I can't find it anywhere. She doesn't seem to be in distress, so I am going to watch her. I put a little elasticized hair holder in with a bow instead of another hair clamp.

SO glad you had such a great day Suz. Reading your post made me smile. You are such an awesome friend....I am happy when you are happy.

I have a bad headache today...no fun. I keep thinking it may go away but alas it hasn't so I am resorting to meds. I plan to go sit out in the sunshine awhile and read.....it is a bit chilly but will still be nice I believe.
Then I will walk the yorkies and do some chores.
Will check back in later.

I had the best day today!!!!!!!! I enjoyed having the girls here so much..... their mom dropped them off about 8:30...... and came to get them about 5 pm.......... I gave them choices for breakfast and they picked Pillsbury cinnabons....... LOL and we had pizza pockets for late lunch....... we did a craft project "fuzzoolie" or something like that..... making animals out of these large fuzzy pipe cleaners...... I had bought each of us a kit so we could do them together we just hadn't done them yet..... then we watched Happy Feet 2...... and goodness I got to see Brandon, my groomer......... he looks perfectly fine!!!!!!

Brandon said he kept a small propane heater in the bottom cabinet of the trailer....... then if his furnace didn't work he had a way to heat up the inside of the trailer so he could do the grooming........ well it apparently developed a leak in the hose somehow...... and he wasn't aware of it...... and they think when his cell phone ran it caused a spark that set off the explosion......... I asked if he fixed up the trailer or got a new one? He said he had to have a new one that the other one was too damaged and even had a hole blown thru the roof!! He has scar tissue on the top of his right hand.......... and a place on his forehead he showed me.......... and he said that still hurts on his head..... but otherwise you would not even begin to guess he was so badly burned 2 months ago! I had to give him a big hug...... I was just so happy to see him!!!!! He thanked me again for his donations.......he said with 5 plus weeks that he didn't get to work it really helped..... I'm just so thankful he is ok and now I got to see him....... he said he'll have to get the kids schedule to be groomed but it will probably be mid-May now....

Then after the Chihuahua issue yesterday....... after the girls left I was here and heard the dogs barking and thought what the heck.... I go look out and there is a PUG standing in my yard eating a biscuit I threw out for the squirrels!!!!!!!!!!! LOL I go out and it was Lexis from next door.... so trying to figure out how she got out? I didn't see her Daddy..... I picked her up to take her home....... and she's is a BIG BONED girl! LOL I put her back in the yard and I still didn't see her Mom or Dad so I came home...... I no sooner got back in and the dogs bark and she's back out already!!!!! awwwwwww come on........ so I go out..... oh did I mention it was raining and freezing out?? and carry her back over... while I'm at the front door trying to get them to answer and tell them she's getting out....... her brother Oscar goes walking past HE GOT OUT TOO!!!! well I can't grab both of them so I'm banging on the door and finally their Dad comes out and I hand him Lexis and told him Oscar was out and he put Lexis in the house and then we go find Oscar...... he said they are going under the deck he build last summer and they dug out ......bad dogs!!!!!!!! LOL

So always fun in the neighborhood!

What a great day I had!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow I have the shelter meeting at 3.......... girls again on Thursday and Friday!

ROFL....I "found" a black chichachua the other day too. i knocked on doors to find out where it lived and then tried to take it home but no one was home. So I kept it in my back yard awhile till its parents came home and I took it home. Now that is a coincidence hunh?

I am finally home. It is rainy here today and my pain level is HIGH. I am resting and relaxing today.

Nellie....I loved reading about Faith enjoying nature. Willow LOVES the outdoors...she is interested in everything and if it moves she is fascinated. Lily is a city girl (as my vet calls her) and hates walking on anything but cement. She refers being indoors and cuddled.

I did not even know about the blood moon but it was rainy here yesterday and today so I doubt I could have seen it.

Hope you all are having a great day....the yorkies are resting....they have been sleeping all day. They are worn out from grandkids (laugh out loud)

Suz; WOW! That was sure a 'great' event! But, look at what you put into it! I know; you had fun in every way you helped. And, most important, you helped the homeless doggies and kitties. The other week our local Humane Society put out a call for canned puppy food. As you well know, Spring brings an abundance of puppies. I took a case of the large Pedigree cans of puppy food down. I make it a point to take some canned dog food and cat food each month.

Emily sounds like Lexie, she wants to do things her way, when she wants to do it!
That little dog sounds cute. Someone probably wanted that little dress. Did her 'mommy' say how she came up missing?

Nellie; I didn't even try to see the Blood Moon. We have too many trees and, there were a lot of clouds.

Sarah, what are you up to today? If your like me today, you are busy.

Guess what, SUZ. We woke up to 1/2-1" of SNOW on the grass and cars, etc.. For the most part; the cement and payment was too warm for the snow to stick.

Suz, yesterday, once again, I added a store name to my post. It was rejected! Once I subed the name for the word 'pharmacy' it went through! Isn't that crazy?

Have a good one!

Hugs,
Janet

I was hoping to see the blood moon, but clouds started rolling in for our promised rain about the time the sun was about to set, so no luck at seeing the eclipse!

That little doggy does sound adorable. I'm glad the owner showed up promptly!

Emily STILL doesn't want to go in her crate to eat!!!!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr tonight when she wouldn't go in I just shut the door with her food inside ...... after I walked away she went over and was trying to get in the crate to eat....... but as soon as I walked in the hallway to let her in she left and came in the living room...... she's driving me crazy! tonight she wanted up on my snack table and so did Peanut and they both got up and laid down sleeping while I petted them and then I groomed Emily ( on one side she wouldn't roll over)...... even trimming around her paws which she hates........

what a day it started to be today!!! I had just woke up and let the kids in the backyard... the girls were coming today so I opened the front door and I saw a neighbor walking up my driveway..... she waved and said you have a dog in your yard! I waved and said there are 4 dogs in my yard!!!!!! and laughed..... she said no.. I mean there is another little black dog in your yard! I was what??????????????? I went out and there was a little black and white Chihuahua.. almost looked like my former neighbors dog! but when we went to get close she started to run away..... I said I'll come in and get some food and a leash..... when I went back out they caught her! so I said give her to me and I'd try to find her owner or take her to the shelter to have her checked for a microchip! she didn't have a collar or tag.....

Scared little girl....... but friendly..... seemed older....... so I bought her in and sent off a message to my friends at the shelter...... took some photos of her........... and then went on facebook to that "find Toby in PA" page....... I thought maybe I'd see her picture and if not I'd post that I found her..... but oh my gosh someone posted a photo of her just 2 days ago! There was a phone # and I called but I got answering machine so I left a message I had their dog!

About an hour later I got a call this woman was so excited she was at work and was trying to get off work to come get her dog...... she said her name is Lola and she had been gone since April 5th! more than a week!!!!!!! I had given her some chicken and rice I didn't know when she last ate and didn't want to upset her tummy....... so I gave her directions and it was about 2 hours later she showed up she was almost in tears..... I said they weren't sure it was her in the photo her chest looked black but the dog I had wasn't? She said she was wearing a little black dress in the photo! She couldn't understand why she didn't have her pink collar and rhinestone tag on when I got her....... she brought her pink harness covered in silk flowers and rhinestones...... it was adorable! She kept giving her kisses and said she was still hoping they'd get her back but was so worried something happened to her...... but it was facebook that got her baby home! I was so happy I was able to find her Mommy!! The lady said she was going to take her home to give her a bath and snuggle with her...... awwwwwww

Becca said she wanted me to keep her I said #1 I have 4 dogs now........ #2 she isn't my doggie!! This lady really wanted her doggie back! so it isn't right to keep her......... she has a Mommy already! she said yeah but I really liked her...... well yes but I can't keep her! she had a home!

So the girls Mom came to get them just past 5 pm........ I had them pick up sticks in the yard today........ my Dad came and used his rotortiller to dig up along my house and the strip in front of my front porch........ he also planted my black raspberry bush and my blueberry bush..... and finished cleaning out my iris bed of leaves........ he said he can get 2 rolls of roofing for my shed for $100........

The shelter actually made $1217.19 yesterday at the Easter egg hunt from registrations, photos, and selling bottled water/sodas........ they hadn't counted in what was collected for registrations on paypal...... what a great total for 1 event!!!! and so much fun!!!!

I get the girls again tomorrow for a little bit in the morning......... Thursday and Friday this week......... woo hoo!

oh yeah they are calling for a rain/snow mix tomorrow night! ugh!!!!!!!! I was outside most of the day Sunday and today!

I want to go out and try to see the "blood moon"

Suz, sorry your babes were giving you 'fits' yesterday. That reminded me of Lexie! She gives me a hard time when ever she thinks I am going away. Like today; I was going to the bank and a pharmacy. Even tho hubby was staying home with her, she was still bent out of shape! When I got home, you could tell she still was ticked off at me. I just went about my business; she finally got over it. She knows when she pants that upsets me. She'll do it until I tell her that's enough. She'll stop and give me 'that look' and go on! They know how to work us, don't they.

Sarah, hope you and the girls are home and resting. I wish this week were over, so, I could rest. That's what I'll be doing most of next week.

Nellie, that is so funny about your babes. Eddie used to catch birds. Eddies last summer he and Lexie caught a baby bunny rabbit! It died.

I got some more things to get done on here. Catch you later.

Hugs,
Janet

Faith seems to be a nature lover. She was bird watching today. A robin landed not more than 5 feet away from us and she was looking at it with great curiosity. Later a stellar jay flew from out yard across the street to land on a smallish tree and she watched that also.

Cielito is more into watching for other dogs since he is so afraid of them, or watching for cars that he thinks he can chase. When a car goes by, he lunges toward it, barking and barking, oblivious to the fact that he is going nowhere since I have the leash firmly in hand!

Suz...so sorry your dogs were "bad" this morning. They wanted their mommy to stay home and play with them.
I saw the photo of the pageant on Facebook...looked like so much fun. Loved the bonnets. It looked like it was so much fun....wish we had something like that here.

I am still at youngest sons house but travel home tomorrow. I am going to another town first that has a farmers market with plants to pick up some ferns and hopefully a willow tree. Then homeward bound. Chris flies our to Colorado tomorrow and will be gone 5 weeks...

It was a great weekend with lots of grandkid time for me. I am exhausted and my pain level is up but it was so worth it.
But I am ready for my own home and some peace and quiet.

I started a new spark team after being the only leader on another one that did anything...I emailed them awhile back and asked if they wanted to be leaders and they all said yes and that they would help but NO help came. So I prayed and decided to resign. Then I felt led to simply leave the team which i did. Then I prayed and felt the desire to start a new fibro team that will glorify Jesus Christ as our savior and help us live our best with fibro. Feel free to join....even if you don't have fibro and want to come share with us.....you are welcome.

I promise not to forget our wonderful little yorkie team tho. I love sharing and hearing about your doggies...and love each one of you.
My little girls are snuggled with me in the recliner asleep....they are so adorable. Some man stopped and told me he wanted to just pick them up and kiss them they were so cute. That cracked me up. He was a big guy too....

oh Ladies what a day I had today!!!! It started out horrible....... I was angry at Peanut and Emily!!! the spoiled brats!!!!!!!! Always when I have something to do I guess they figure if they screw around I won't leave the house!!!! My knee had felt pretty good when I got up but then when I was carrying the boys dishes into feed them..... Peanut jumped and hit the side of my knee in the worst possible place and pain just shot thru my leg.......... I was ready to strangle that boy!!!!! THEN......... I got the girls breakfast and was going to put their dishes in their crates and Emily REFUSED to get in her crate to eat........ now any other time she zooms right in..... I had to CHASE HER and CATCH HER to make her go in the crate to eat today!!!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!

But once I got to the shelter I had a great time with the Easter egg hunt and the Easter Bonnet contest!!!!! we had the most gorgeous weather...... 81 degrees with a breeze ( a little too much at times it kept blowing my bunny ears off)...... just beautiful....I got a little bit of "sun" today so I caught up on my vitamin D.. and all the dogs!! The shelter made a little over $1,000 today with the Easter egg hunt event!! it was amazing!!
I really had a great time petting all the dogs...... my favorite thing to do!!! And can you believe it there was only 1 yorkie there and they didn't bring a bonnet for it!!!!!!!! seriously???? no bonnet!!!!!! arrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! In all 3 categories I had 40 dogs! There were only 4 puppies and 1 didn't show up when I called their number..... There were only 7 small dogs and 1 of them didn't show..... but I had 30 medium/large dogs enter!

Everyone had a great day with their dogs and that was my favorite part..... watching everyone having a great day with their dogs......

I stopped for food on the way home...... the kids and I spent a lot of time outside.... they seemed happy that I was home again! Emily still didn't want to go in her crate for dinner I don't know what's wrong with her!!!!!

Anyway it's still warm and I have windows open and put the screen in the door...... they are calling for Tuesday we're to get rain and the temps are to drop and they said we could even have FROST on Wednesday!!!!!! awwwww come on I want to keep this warm weather!!!
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr hoping it comes back soon!

Glad you all had a good day as well!

Our nights have been cold the last couple of days and the days have been sunny and edging toward hot. It is 68 degrees outside. However, the rain is supposed to return later this evening and stick around for several days.

Some community here in WA state is having landslide threat and a bunch of people have been evacuated to be on the safe side. They have allowed some people to go back to remove some things but they have to leave again before too many hours elapse.

Good evening---
We went to Church; had brunch at "Big Boy". I have been busy deleting from my timeline. There were some things on there that I wanted to keep. Decided I better get them off before I lost it all, [besides my mind] LOL!

I got a notification from DD2's Church. It showed the Sanctuary. Of course it was their Palm Sunday Services. A Church that's as beautiful on the inside as on the outside. Anyway, the procession was led by "Enright" the donkey. Yes, a live donkey! The picture is on my Timeline. I think that is neat!

I did get a few things done here. Just your usual daily chores!

Sarah, Maggie is a beautiful young lady. She's 4, isn't she? And, that Bentley; he looks like all-boy! Be careful driving home!

Suz, the doggies were so pretty in the Easter bonnets! I bet everyone had a good time; including you!

Are you ready for this, Suz? Today it's in the 70's; and, we are to get snow Tuesday! With a low of 30 and the high of 44! If it continues it should be there Wednesday! Sorry!

Nellie, what's the weather up your way? I think we are all being warned! With all the things going on! With the shootings, mudslides, and now that Earthquake in the Solomon Islands. I know you are aware it's in that ring of fire! Scary!!!

I have a very busy week, as I am sure you all do! We have Church Wednesday eve; Thursday eve; Friday eve; three services Easter Sunday and our family dinner! And, with the cleaning and cooking for that; I'll need all the next week to rest up!!!

I will be taking pics. of Lexie. Her new bright red raincoat came the other day; and pics of her in her Easter Outfit!

Till later; have a good evening!

Hugs,
Janet

I haven't been having any issues....... now watch I will!

My knee is still bothering me...... I thought I'd get the hot tub up and running by changing the water and filters and for some reason I'm short one of the filters..... I buy them usually 4 at a time so I have a fresh set to put in and a spare set..... well now I have 1 and not the 2nd one..... it takes 2 different size filters..... so I have it empty and I had to order filters... it will take about a week for them to get here from California....... so I did all that and now still can't use it......

I messed around a little outside....... and I went to the dollar tree to get 3 helium balloons for tomorrow........... then I found out that the label DOES come off the planter's peanut jar! awwwwww man!!!!!! so I went ahead and made another bunny jar out of it like I wanted to do to start with..........

I loaded all the stuff in the car for the Easter egg hunt tomorrow at the shelter and my Easter bonnet contest............ I'll take plenty of pictures!

I still have trouble getting onto spark people at times. Not sure why. And several times when I have written a long email it has been lost somehow.
I am really tired...lots of people...I had to retreat for some quiet time twice....my pain level was going really high. The kids were wide open but grandson is attached at my hip..he adores his nana....and now we are resting and watching dinosaur train (his favorite show)

I am traveling to youngest sons house to spend time with him and granddaughter for awhile. I will be headed home Monday. I am exhausted. But I have one more day to spend with my granddaughter. I missed time with her yesterday being here helping out DIL for grandsons party. It went quite well but they really spent lots of money on it.

Hope you all had a great weekend....

Janet..the petunia is so pretty.

Hugs to all,
Sarah

I had been getting notifications regularly until this week. All of a sudden, I was getting hardly any, and I checked to see if my settings had changed, but they hadn't.

What is weird is that today I am getting duplicate notifications of the same thread, but at different times. It seems to be only on SP that these strange things are happening.

Nellie?

I read this on the email notifications of posts made in your group before.....

So maybe this explains your problem you've had......

GOOD MORNING, Girls---
It seems a lot of things are going on with the internet! Across the board it appears quirks appear. Like the problem you, Nellie, had yesterday. And, SP not posting my post yesterday morning. It said I had HTML. After several attempts, in desperation I replaced store names and the name of our Church's Womens out reach with x's, SP posted it! However, I had NO links and/or NO photos! Now, explain to me what happened!

On Fb, I have had pics and/or comments disappear off my timeline. And, I can be on one site, I go to comment, and it switches me to another page!

On regular inbox, I have had [exp.] say, an e-mail from a Saturday and I read it. On sunday that very same e-mail has been deleted off Saturdays mail and put on sundays with a time for sunday. BUT, on the actual e-mail heading it had the original time; which was what it was on Saturday! There was a series of pics from DD1 and her partners commitment. They entirely disappeared off my computer! Nowhere, they are completely deleted!

Now, I am not going to put any ideas in your head; I'll let you draw your own conclusions!

With that; I wish you a Good Day!..........................................

For some reason, I'm not getting emails to let me know when a thread has been commented on all the time. Like today the email for this thread came and when I looked back it had been at least 3 days of posting I hadn't seen. I've gone and made sure my settings are correct, and that is not the problem!

Maintaining.

Suz---If you read my post from earlier this morning; where I put the x's is the only things I deleted. As you can see, I have no link or photo in that post! So, I don't know what was going on.

A guy that goes to our Church posted on Fb said this morning, that he was trying to comment on one of his friends posts, it switched him to anothers post!

Even our TV went off for awhile. Microsoft warned me they found suspicious entry on my acct.. Evidently someone was either trying to hack or using my password to try to get in. So, we had to change all that!

The other night Fb wanted to update my pertection. Till we got done, I had been on there almost an hour. This was late in the evening.

All I'm saying is be careful. Like my Status says..................

Well I didn't post yesterday ( Janet not sure what you mean you couldn't type the names of the stores? I type in Petsmart and stuff all the time? HTML usually refers to copying a link and inserting it with pictures? but I've copied and pasted web addresses before too)

anyway, my parents showed up to bring back the dog crate, she is convinced that Cody will hurt his paw trying to get out of the crate because he isn't happy in it...... ok whatever I'm done arguing with her...... Dad said he "forgot" what my shed looked like and wanted to measure to see what it would take to put a new roof on it........ OH MY GOSH I went with him to look at the back to measure and I didn't realize how horrible the shingles are on the back!!! The shingles are all curled up!! no wonder it's leaked! The shingles from the front look ok...... Dad said for him to do it he'd have to build a temp scaffold because he can't work on a ladder........ I really don't think it's a good idea for him to do this he isn't good on ladders and fell twice now...... he was going to Lowe's to see what it would cost for tar paper and shingles..... It also needs painted............

I got my solar motion detection flood light at Walmart....... it's charged and ready to be put on this end of the shed.......... it will light up towards the driveway and the back yard where I don't have any light...... Dad said he'll come and put that up ........ oh boy!

I got email from the woman that put me in charge of the Easter bonnet contest that they didn't have the stuff to rope off my area for the contest so now I need either tape or rope and stakes or something to do it myself...... for pete's sake!!!!!! I've had to do everything on my own!!!!!! This has cost me a fortune!! I made 4 Easter baskets up and bought 6 gift cards! yesterday though instead of "buying" dowel rods for the signs I cut off sticks from branches that fell in the yard and spray painted them for the signs......... I also printed prize "ribbons" on the computer and cut them out instead of going to buy them........

Did you like the new yard spinner? It's so mesmerizing when it's spinning.... and where I have it I can see it from sitting in my living room........ I just wish it would spin more! It really takes a strong wind to move it yet you just touch it and it turns freely...... the colored one turns very easy and I love the colors on it..... but I can only see it from the kitchen and bathroom or when I'm outside..

I spoke to Sammy's mom yesterday and pointed out where the neighbor boys are damaging their fence by kicking their soccer balls into it.......... she hadn't noticed and she said that makes her angry and she was going to talk to their mother........ I told her good luck cause I tried that already and they haven't stopped doing it yet! She said if they don't stop it she will make them pay to repair her fence...... she said she's getting tired of the boys throwing trash in the yard...... they really are unruly boys! I think their Mom is just overwhelmed trying to control them.......... I suggested they put a tarp up in the bushes to catch their ball and even offered them a tarp and they said they had one to use but they still haven't put it up...... oh well I tried.....

My knee is still bothering me....... not quite as much....... I'm going to try to empty the hot tub today so I can get it filled with clean water and can get in it........ they are calling for chances of rain though....... Katie said she needs me to watch the girls probably about 3 days next week could be more........ I'm going to get the girls to help me pick up sticks in the yard and maybe rake the other flower bed....... they can help me get ready to mow the yard........

ok so I'm done for now........ gotta get the kids their breakfast!

give your babies a kiss from me.........

UPDATE!!!!

Where you see the "X's" I had to delete the words I had put in. The two stores I and everyone else had posted before. The last one where I have put in the letters for the ladies group, I have done before.

However, I received notice that for me to delete my "html". Only after I deleted those three things, did it go through! It's a wonder I didn't have to delete "EASTER".

Sorry about my MIA yesterday. I spent a lot of time with Lexie. Trimming her, etc.. I was going to bathe her also; but, just freshened her up. I talked with my ex-hairdresser; who was the breeder I got Smidgen and dogs in the past. She cautioned me to wait until the weather was more stable. Because of her senior age, need to be cautious to keep her well. That if she got ill it may not go well with her. I sure want to keep her with us as long as possible! As she will be 11 in July.

I just heard thunder to our north. It is to be one of those days. Oh well, I can get some more pre-Easter things done. I have my menu made out. I wanted to make some chocolate crosses' for on top of the cupcakes, but, I forget where I put the molds. So, unless I get to "xxx-xxxx" and get more, I'll have to come up with other ideas. It will all work out.

Oh, and yes; Lexie's red lady-bug raincoat arrived yesterday. She looks so cute in it. It's not the usual flimsy coat like you usually see at "xx-xxxx" and such. It's the shiny red with hood attached. And, it is lined with soft flannet with yes, lady bugs on it. On the back on the outside it has a lady-bug on both sides. It cost, but, I have seen more expensive ones. And, yes, it came from xxxxxxxxx

I still have to figure out what I will wear for Easter yet. I'll do that next week
Sunday is the last day of our Silent Auction at Church. The lady's group is having it, with the proceeds going to help Youth to go to camp this summer. I have bids on three different articles. One is a purse one of my Sisters have made. She does a superior job. My supply of handmade articles are used up. Because right now I am doing those canvas pictures

Better close; I have yaked enough for yesterday and, today.

You all have a great day, and, I'll be back later.

Hugs,
Janet

Wow Suz....you had a busy day. Sounds like the vet did a thorough exam. Willow is coming due for her shots in May. She has to spend the day at the vets tho as she is so small and she had a reaction once and almost died.....I bet my vet bill will be around $300 as I also get their heart worm meds and flea treatment.
not sure where the money will come from for them....but I will figure it out somehow. I am barely paying my bills these days....but I am not worrying...I know God will provide and as long as I am able to pay bills I am happy. I don't need any extras. But something always seems to come up that requires money.

I am at eldest sons house now....gonna babysit for DIL to shop and get all the stuff she needs to his birthday party on Saturday. They are renting a jumpy house with slides for all the kids to play on.

Today was busy for me...I had to pack...load the car..then walk the yorkies. Then I took mom to her dental appointment...then home to pick up the yorkies and drove to Atlanta. Then when I got here I walked the yorkies again....and have been with grandson all evening. I am tired and going to take a bath soon.

Lily is still doing really well. She is as normal as ever although I do notice she is much more hesitant about some things. She is not as trusting with people as she was...she is afraid of many things now. But I do my best to keep her feeling happy and secure.
They are in on the bed in the room where I stay as they got quite bombarded with kids running around and need some quiet time.

Glad you had nice weather Suz. It was high 70's here but chilly at night. Sunshine felt so good today. I can't wait till next week when I am home and able to sit out in the sun. The doctor told me my vitamin D level was low...I knew it was....I need a lot of sunshine to feel my best. Gotta work on my tan so I don't burn in Florida. We go in the middle of May. Can't wait.

Ok....check in when you can......and I will do the same....gonna be busy weekend but a good one celebrating Bentleys 2nd birthday.

Sarah? I look my aleve this morning, sprayed with ice hot spray, and was using my cane!

It was one of those days I dreamed about all winter..... sunny and in the 60's today...... after my knee loosened up I used my rake to rake the leaves out of the flower bed off the back porch and put them in a trash can, I have a can full and some I couldn't get in.....

I had waited and watched Peanut to get his poo to take to the Vet today and he didn't go potty...... so of course my sister started yapping to me on facebook and when I finally got away from her and went to the kitchen to let them out "someone" went on the kitchen floor.... I know it wasn't Scruff..... and Em went after I let them out...... so it was either Peanut or Tootsie...... Tootsie has had diarrehea so I'm assuming it was Peanut and I took it with him to the Vet!

Vet almost got bit! She asked how he's been and he's fine..... so we went over a few things and she asked me to put him on the table...... so I did! She went to reach for him and he growled once and snapped at her and almost got her!!!!!! OMG!!! He would not let her touch him he kept growling... and not a "nice" growl........ so she said to turn him around and she'd get him from the back.... and for me to back away from the table then....... so I did and she called another Vet tech in to help hold him for his exam and shots....... and she trimmed his toenails....... I said I don't know what's wrong with him? he's friendly to everyone! She said well they have a "protective bubble" and he felt he had to protect me...... so when I handed him over he was ok....... His teeth, eyes and ears are perfect! She said his heart and lungs sound perfect! They took blood for heartworm test but said she doesn't feel he has any..... and gave him his booster shots...... he's lost 1 pound since last year and she was happy he's 10.2 pounds....... she said she'd like to see him lose another half pound.....
$151.00

On the way home I took him to Petsmart and got him one of his favorite airkong balls .... the tennis balls that squeak! He loves those...... and I got him a new harness....... I rarely get to take him in stores ( he wants to mark EVERYTHING)...... today he was out of pee so while he lifted his leg he wasn't doing anything......... he was happy to spend time with Mommy and to get a new ball!

I made leftovers........ fed the kids...... they ran around outside....... and now they are all sleeping....

I'm going to go lay on the recliner with them with the heating pad for awhile....

Hi All---
It's been a productive day, believe it or not! I got quite a bit accomplished, believe it or not! DD2 has been my inspiration. I realized that on days when I feel half way well; I more than likely feel I'll just let some chores go, because in my mind I believe I'll do them later. But, we all know how that goes! We just never seem to get around to doing them!

So, DD2's home always looks nice, and, she works full-time and has outside the home things to do. I once lived that same type of life. so, I asked her how she did it. She told me, and, that's how I have been doing it. So far, so good. I realize sometime I'm not going to be able to 'pull' it off; when that happens I'll just start up again when I can.

You all have a Blessed evening and night.

Hugs,
Janet.

I had to run around today to get the rest of the stuff to finish the Easter baskets for the Easter bonnet prizes........ I didn't want to my knee is hurting enough that I'm wearing my knee brace again but it isn't helping........ until I got thru the check out at Walmart I could barely put weight on my left leg I was leaning on the shopping cart and I had to get home yet........

I have no idea how I managed to get everything out of the car but I did....... and I put the baskets together...... I need to find ribbon to tie shut 2 baskets and make a bow of sorts..... not my strong point......... but they are done!!!!!

I ate some chicken I got at walmart for dinner........ and while I watched Anderson Cooper I had some Breyer's vanilla ice cream.....

I'm tired and my knee hurts....... I'm going to take my night time pain stuff and go to bed.....

I have Peanut to take to the Vet tomorrow....... oh boy......... I dread it!

I took my mom to our doctor today. She too Janet can not get the doctors to do anything. Its like ok..you are 88 so go die. We aren't gonna do anything for you. It makes me SICK! They just want to dispose of elderly. People are so heartless these days.

Anyway..I had a hugely busy day today...didn't get home till around 8pm so I am exhausted. Pain level is up. I just wanted to drop in and say hello to you all....
