The story about your healing reminds me of the time I was having car trouble and when I took it to the mechanic, I prayed that it wouldn't be over the $50 I had in my account. The bill was $49 and change. I was telling the church about it during praise time, ending the story with, "I'm broke until payday, but at least my car is running!" The pastor surprised me with his response: "The moral of that story is don't limit God. You could have prayed for Him to leave you grocery money as well." The church laughed - but that hadn't even occurred to me until that moment. I started thinking about how many times we limit God - He wants to give us "exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think" - but we limit him by our own specific agendas. I'm trying to learn someday to pray for His bright ideas - they're MUCH better than mine!

Didn't make it to Sabbath today, but do feel Jesus has a hand on me and understands. Certainly the Spirit of the Lord knows and has been with me through the past couple months. I finally asked for YET ANOTHER miracle, and God provided. Ever had to explain to a doctor that you prayed and something that was even more serious almost ceased suddenly even if you were not completely and totally healed? When it is said to be careful of what you pray for... you have to make sure your words are not shorting the effect you are really praying for. I did ask that God make the blood appearing in my lungs to stop, and it did. What I should have been asking for was a complete healing in my lungs. So, this has been a lesson in knowing what and how to pray. But, doctors are often very freakish and quite territorial about who we give some credit to.

Outdoor services sound really nice and especially if the weather had cooperated a bit more. Have to close now. Have a beautiful day and God Bless all my Spark friends. Love, Mary C.

Happy Sabbath Mary. I want to encourage you to go to church today. I know sometimes it is hard - especially when you have not been there for awhile but I am quite sure you will find a great blessing there today. Jesus wants to encourage you too and by going you will feel his love and his healing.

I'm sorry you have been in the hospital and hope that you will be on the mend now. Take care Mary.

Today, my church is having outdoor church. It is drizzling!! I am hoping it will go away so we can enjoy and worship outside.

Hi All,
I attend Mt. Tahoma SDA in Tacoma, WA. Have been missing a lot this year due to ups and downs with health problems. Would like to go tomorrow... not sure until then as just out of hosp 2 days ago and have not been getting the recoup time I'm supposed to. But after today am sure things will slow down and go much better. Hadn't been on my computer for 2 weeks... the best I could do last night was pick out what seemed important and deleted the rest. Problem was IT ALL SEEMED IMPORTANT... and so pained me to do that! Am looking forward to sharing with you as a TEAM member. Later, Mary C.

I am actually church secretary for the Hood View Church in Boring, Oregon. Yes - Boring. It is near Portland.

When my mother lived in Walla Walla she fell in love with the City Center Church. You'll have to check that one out. There are people of all ages there and she really liked that. We visited there too and liked it.

My son of course attended the Walla Walla University Church.

Presently I am church hunting with my husbend. We have been going to the Athena church in Oregon, but as I am new to this part of Washington I would like to look around. You can't through a rock with out hitting an SDA church here in College Place/Walla Wall area..lol... Before I moved here I was attending the Healdsburg Church in Healdsburg California.
