This is the site I used to determine my BMR

http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calcul
ator/

plus it can give you your %age of body fat too which is another tool I use to see if I am doing good. I love losing body fat because that means muscle is taking its place.

I would definitely go by what SparkPeople is telling you to eat. I would also keep track for one week how many calories you are burning with your treadmill workouts. Do you wear a heart rate monitor? I wear one with each workout I am doing so I have an accurate number of the calories I am burning to make sure my calories are on track.

I do not know it all but I am quite knowledgeable when it comes to weight loss (I am studying to be a personal trainer)

THANKS SASSY! you do know everything, I should just go directly to you! I guess because I am working out an hour a day it must have changed? I"m wondering how much I should really eat and maybe that's why I am starting to plateau? THANK YOU!!

If you are consistently burning more calories than you are taking in it may change. I did not know it would change it by itself. It has happened to me when I am putting in my fitness minutes and calories it will say something at the bottom in red that Nutritional calories need to be adjusted. It does this because if you are not eating enough your body will go into starvation mode and you will not lose weight. Your net calories should never been under 1200. My BMR is like 1600 calories (that is just the basic number of calories I need for my body to function) then I burn anywhere from 300-1300 calories per day so I need to make sure I do not go under 1600 or my body will not lose weight. I hope that made sense and I did not completely confuse you! emoticon
