Surprisingly, exercise makes me feel less hungry. I'm not sure if it is a physical thing or mental thing (my mind telling me I'd have to work out more if I eat more)?

Which has more fiber:
An avocado or a cup of whole wheat pasta? Good news for guacamole lovers — it’s the avocado. One whole avocado has 18 grams of fiber, while a serving of whole wheat spaghetti has about 6 grams.
A cup of bran cereal or a cup of oatmeal? A serving of bran cereal has a whopping 10 to 14 grams of fiber. Cooked oatmeal has just half that amount.
A cup of raspberries or five prunes? Despite their reputation for helping you stay regular, canned prunes contain just 3.3 grams of fiber per serving and dried prunes have 3 grams, whereas raspberries have 8.4 grams of fiber.
A couple of handfuls of almonds or a half cup of frozen sweet peas? Take your pick; they have the same amount — 3 grams.

As a team leader I don't need a goodie but I work in a school cafeteria and we took a class on the mandatory amounts in order to have a compliant plate which will be reimbursed by the federal government. We have found some children who are used to using the salad bar have no trouble being compliant, but others are resistant to being compelled to eat something they "do not like or want". I know I was not a fan of vegetables as a child but eating a half of a cup of veggies or fruits should be part of every child's food plan. No wonder we are having trouble with our food.
Parents would be shocked if they saw what their child tosses in the trash every day from their made at home lunches also.
