I have not lost any weight since i last weighed at the doctors office but on the other hand so far my tests have come out negative and Im just waiting for my last test results to declare myself still cancer free.

I have lost my first full pound since I was practically put on bedrest back in late June! I've spent 8 weeks battling just to stay at 168, and this morning I was at 167. I'm not recording it until my official weigh-in tomorrow morning, but I'm JUST SO HAPPY. I had to share! Plus, I put this in my status and on my facebook, but I did THREE assisted pullups last night. Woohoo!

You guys are having some great woo hoo fabulous Friday news today. Amanda, I loved Gold's when I was a member but their billing department,..not so much. After months of fighting with them I just ended my membership when the contract was up. I miss it, but Planet Fitness gives me what I need (except for classes and a pool) for a lot less money. I'm glad you can go to that pool and get in some good fitness time.

My Friday as been fabulous in that not only did my amazing future daughter-in-law show up this morning to go to the gym with me, she also has straightened up my house AND mopped my floors. Mopping and sweeping just kill my back and she wanted to do something special for me as a surprise. I just love her so much and she made my Friday FABULOUS!

I am having a fab friday because I don't have to goto work next week!!

Also I got in another 540 minutes of exercise this week. Can't wait ti weigh in on Sunday. Hop eit s good. But I KNOW that I have lost inches, will measure as well on Sunday, so it is good.

I was sitting in my friend's office talking to her and realized I was sitting there with my legs crossed. WOOHOO!!! That is a big goal for me!! I hated not being able to cross my legs. So it's fabulous and it's a WooHoo!!!

I need to get this done for me and only I can do it!

Fabulous Friday for me! I weighed in a bit lower than 168 this morning, and have hopes to reach 167.5 tomorrow. If I do, that'll be a pound lost this week (or more, if you consider the extra weight I gained at the end of last week), and 5.5 lbs in June! I haven't lost more than 2-3 lbs in any month since last September's 5.5-lb loss. Woohoo!

Also, after waffling about pools for the last week and having a miserable time trying to exercise with this injury, Jason sat me down last night and told me that we need to get me a gym membership. I can't really afford it, and if I get one, it'll have to be to Gold's (the only gym that I can semi-afford and that has a pool), and I hate Gold's from some issues I had with them last time...but, it feels good to have made this decision. I never do well when I'm waffling and trying to figure things out. Sometimes I just need to make a decision, and sometimes I need Jason to sit me down and force me to make a decision. Which is kinda funny, since he himself never seems to be able to make a decision when it comes to him. He can push me the right direction, though, and I needed that! I feel much better today than I've felt all week.

Congrats on the 23 pounds, Lynn! I'm happy I found a pair of grown up shoes that actually fit my size 3 1/2 foot to wear with my new outfit to my husband's high school reunion mixer tonight. Oh...and that my new outfit is a size smaller than the last dressy pants and blouse I bought. woot!

My Fabulous Friday report is that the kids and I have declared a weekly "family fitness night." Usually Wednesdays, we plan on finding fun and silly activities to do outside together. This week we started off by having tilapia and roasted veggies for dinner, then headed out to buy all of us new jump ropes and hula hoops. The basketball is also fully inflated, and we plan on using all of this more often, but especially together on our special night.

I have lost 6 pounds in the last 3 weeks as of today! That is 2 pounds per week for 3 weeks running. Couldn't be happier about that! That means I have 169 days, which is 24 weeks until the Dirty Girl Mud Run to meet my goal of being under 200 pounds. If I keep this rate up I will do it with weeks and weeks to spare but since bodies are not predictable I am glad for the extra time!

My favorite singer released a new album today, first time in nearly four years (and this particular album was originally supposed to be out in 2010, so it's been a LONG time in coming!!), and then, to top off my extreme happiness about buying the album - which also comes with a full length book he wrote, aah!!! - I stepped on the scale and found I'd lost 1.5 lbs since last Friday. That puts me officially in the 160s!!! 169.5! Over 85 lbs lost! I am so frickin' happy!!!

I only lost a pound, BUT I picked up my new prescription for my thyroid and the dosage was lowered. I didn't know that losing weight effected the dosage. YEAH!

This Friday is FABULOUS because for the second week in a row I have lost two pounds! That is so very rare for me! Woot!

Janet...training for the dirty girl run...Hmmm...well, unless you have a waist deep pool to run through, a bunch of bales of cotton to climb, and tons of tires laying scattered around your back yard the only thing I can suggest is to work on both endurance AND strength. Climbing and pulling yourself over walls and running through water takes a lot of upper body and lower body strength. Completing the 5Ks of obstacles are going to take endurance as well. My upper body is fairly strong so I while I am building on that I am also going to be really focusing on my legs and core. I know I probably will have to detour through the tire swings and the wall climbing because of my back and hips I have to be careful of harder landings, but I am training as though I will be doing all of the obstacles. Endurance is going to be my weakness so I am really working at pushing myself through lots of cardio to build up my stamina.

haha, I have no idea how to train for it! I guess just a lot of strength training and walking/running (though I am banned from running for the rest of the summer, grr). But this particular run can be walked, isnt' timed, and isn't competitive, so it should be fun even if you don't properly train. :D
