I am thankful I have a emoticon job and a emoticon house to leave in and emoticon food on my table

I was just reminded on another thread that we usually have a thread to post what we're thankful for this time of year. After the hurricanes, storms, and layoffs this past year, maybe we should keep it going all year.

I'll start it off with this:
I'm thankful that I have a job (even though I don't like it) and that I have family close by so if I ever found myself in the kind of situation so many on the east coast are in, I would have some place to go.
