visit the EFI website and ask for a list of "Gravity" trainers in your area. They can show/teach you exercises that you won't find with your Total Gym.

EFI is the company that makes the Total Gym as well as the commercial version, "Gravity." I am a Gravity instructor and I can honestly say that I've never trained a person who said they didn't like it. It's perfect for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Good luck and enjoy!

Hey!!! So I have finished my move across country. So that took forever. And then I had to wait for the Gym to be shipped to me (was really quick!) And then it took forever for my internet to be hooked up. But the good news is that I'm settled in. I have my internet. And I have my total gym!!! That thing is the coolest!!! It's taking me a bit to get used to it because it's so different from the old weights in the gym. In the gym it's back and forth, no difference. But this way it's all ranges of motion so it takes extra work, concentration and control to do it smoothly and correctly. But it's so worthwhile!!! I've only been using it a week, and I need to get myself back off of soda, but I'm definetly feeling a lot better!!!

Oh I have been!!! I'm so excited. I'm going to be moving in with my mom for the 6 months while my husband is deployed (he's in the Navy), and I called her to tell her about winning it and her first comment was "Will you be taking it out here with you so I can use it too?"

Congrats! Enjoy it!

ok... I know I sound like an infomercial. I've been wanting a Total Gym which is the excersize machine that Chuck Norris does the infomercials on. Well anyways, they have the low grade version at walmart for $185 so I was thinking of getting that one. I'm not a person who is usually willing to spend the extra money on getting the model of an item with all the bells and whistles.... heck you should see my car! I still have manual windows and door locks and no cruise control LOL (How primitive am I!) So I was looking on craigslist to see if maybe someone had a used one available for cheaper and I found someone with a higher version for $200 but I wanted to make sure it's a good deal. So I went to www.totalgymdirect.com (their main website) and there's a banner on the website that says they're celebrating their 10 year anniversary and they're giving away a free Total Gym to every 25th caller. Ok.. I'm a sucker for contests so I call in. The first person I talk to I think I had a bad connection on my cell phone because she couldn't understand anything I was saying *GRRRR* So I call back in and this lady is nice AND can understand me =P So They ask for your name, address, phone number and email address...I'm like 'why are you asking all this?" I don't like just handing out my info even though I know it's a legitimate company that's been around a long time. She said they have to fill out a form on their computer to sumbit it to see if you've won. I'm like ahh, okay. She said so far today she hasn't had any winners so she's hoping she'll get lucky. So she says "Okay, I'm going to sumbit it now." Then she gets ALL excited.... I WON!!!! So she tells her co workers and they're all excited. And then she starts reading me the schpeal on what's included, shipping info, etc. So I'm like wait.. which version am I getting? Becuase they have everything from a $400 version to a $1700 version online. I won the really cool $1700 version!!! And the shipping is included!!!! Okay... Like I said, I know I sound like an infomercial, but I thought that was so cool that I've been wanting one, and now I have the best, brand new version for FREE, I don't have to pay for shipping, and I should have it in 1-2 weeks. I'm just so happy!!!! Now I just have to find a way to fit it into the car when I move out to Arizona LOL Anyways.. there are two reasons why I posted this.. 1. I'm super excited. and 2. I thought maybe some of you out there may also be excited to try for it for fun!
*hugs*
Rachelle
