There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
Hi, I use the Sonoma teqnique ( 7 inch plate or bowl. A single layer on the place. Not piled up for breakfast. Of course bacon and sausage are out for the first while. For lunch and dinner the same only try to include as many food groups as possible. Your can have two snacks during the day if memory serves me correct (some raisins, fruit, try to include fibre in all meals - cereal counts, piece of bread or toast during one of your meals with jam (or as a snack) You should not skip the snacks but don't go overboard, and eat at the same times every day. After the first stage you can even add a glass of wine to your dinner. There is a book out that describes this in detail.
Also recipezaar's web site has forums for everything medically related plus more where you can ask questions etc. I use both sparkteam and recipezarr as my information sources.
I am a pediatric nurse in the Dallas-Fort-worth area of Texas and have been a BSN for 12 years and loving it. We are going on a cruise after Thanksgiving and I AM going to lose down to at least 155lbs.. I need to tone and tighten. this is not very easy... help.
