I knew about the mistake but it didnt matter, sometimes i get mixed up with the names too, or i forget peoples real names.
I have 3 children, a girl 20, a boy 16 and a boy 11. They stay with my ex. Greg the 11 years comes very often and we spend alot of time doing all kinds of things around here. We had a great time at my spark buddy's house and sunday we went for a pic nic, always horrible feelings when he goes back to his house.
As for your questions, the snacks i have right now are small pudding cups, 60 calories each. Some lay chips, and a bag of cookies. I allow myself a small desert with my supper so that i dont go crazy with cravings and eat twice the amount. My meals are simple as fast 5 to 10 minutes to prepare. I prepare soups in advance, or pork roast. I eat a small amount of meat, chicken or fish, usually with a vegetable like green beans, kidney beans. I like to munch on carrots and celery. I find since i prepared some meals in advance and stick to my 3 meals it has helped me feel more satisfied and am actually now slowly loosing weight. My favorite meal is a nice cesar salad with chicken and cheese. Been trying to eat more protein as i had cut out meat all together i am now putting some back into my diet but a small amount only and eating bigger vegetable portions. I have been doing good, only had 1 or 2 cokes in almost 2 weeks, big change from my 2L a day habit. Replaced it mainly with water, and the occasional juice or diet drink.

I am sorry I posted the last reply on this subject to Denise. I meant it for you. Because I work 2, 10 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday, I make enough food to last all weekend. And I keep it simple. My mantra ... K.I.S.S. Keep it short and sweet. Here are a couple of questions for you: 1) What do you like to eatfor entrees? 2) What do you like to snack on? 3) What kind of snacks are in your house right now? 4) How elaborate are your meals? 5) How much time do you spend preparing food on a daily basis?
Yes, wouldn't it be great if we had an extra day to do things like this? I didn't know you had a child. You haven't mentioned him before. 11 is the age where they need to be entertained alot. I totally understand, but we can certainly figure a way to make Your eating work for you.
yes i agree. I have noticed when i pre plan and even prepare ahead of time that it is working for me. Usually i have my son (11) on the weekends and i buy junk food and we sit here and eat junk while we watch t.v., this weekend i didnt, he doesnt need it either. lets brainstorm some meals together if you want, gives us more time on the weekends to enjoy ourselves instead of cooking all weekend. (do you think we need an extra day during the week to do all this) off to work, till later. keep up the good work.

We need to work on a plan to keep your weekday success from disappearing over the weekend. Planning your meals seems to be helping during the week for work purposes. Might that help a bit for the weekend as well. The weather is getting nicer. Possibly getting out of the house some on the weekend to garden or walk more or something. Yes ... weekends are hard. Lets work on it together.
i did a damage control weight in yesterday, and luckily i didnt gain anything over the weekend which i usually do. All hard work during the week and then the weekend poof its gone and then i have to start over again. I want to change that habit of weekend pig outs.
Great news all over for you Sabrina. Good for you!!!

Thamk you Denise and Adrean. I appreciate the support. And I am doubly excited right now. I just weight (I weigh every day) I am down 2 lbs from yesterday. Excellent. Now if I can keep it from yoyoing .... Friday's weigh in should be something to look forward to.
Hey there ladies, Just got home from school. Did OK on my A&P test. Have an 86% in the class. Teacher says this school requires way more material than any other college she has taught at. Good school ... especially for health related fields. Hard class. Anyway ... I am working my butt off. A little behind in English ... will get caught up this week. Whew ... not so easy for an old broad like me!!
Did great with eating today. Didn't cheat. Had something yummy for breakfast ... A Morning Star Spicy Black Bean Burger browned in a touch of EEVO with 2 fried eggs on top of it. (low carb) It was outstanding-ly delicious!! And then Buffalo chicken for dinner ... 1 breast browned on both sides and then a tblsp of Blue Cheese dressing mixed with 1 tblsp. of Franks Hot Sauce (any red cayenne will do) and a tblsp. of white vinegar. Pour over chicken, cover pan, turn down heat and cook about 5 min. until done. Excellent. Serve with salad. Yummmmy!!
sure Christina step right in whenever you want, so far i think we have about 10 active members, but most of these ladies work very hard shifts (almost forgot the f, lol ) and arent home during the day, but you will notice they post all crazy hours of the night, my hat goes out to them for being so committed to helping people. Thats what it is all about. Just sitting here watching dancing with the stars, wish i could move like that, oh well just got to get moving more so that i can, right. ok back to the books for me. till later love, good night everyone.
Sandy- Thanks for the compliment. You are doing good as well. Good job on only taking one brownie. All is good in moderation.
Andrea- That's cool, that seems to happen a lot with teams, it is good that you are taking the steps to make it active. After all what would a team be without the members encouraging and supporting each other.
I too find that if I am having an off week it is much harder for me to eat right. I barely want to eat anything and when I do it is a grab and go type food. I was like that for the last 2 weeks. Thankfully I am now over that hurdle and eager to eat again.
If you need help getting the team going let me know, I will try and get some posts going here as well. things that would be of interest to the team.
Have a great night everyone.

hi Denise, well we are starting to get people going abit, apparently the leader disappeared, and i guess the people didnt know how this work, anyway a couple of us are getting the topics going and we seem to be getting a good response. How was your weekend. I had a really nice one.
Christina it seems like this team has lost its leader but a couple of us are trying to get things going here and start the chat going. Glad you had a great weekend too.
I too started prepared food ahead and it really seems to make a difference with me to. Funny you know when i feel good this is no problem to do, but if i feel down or whatever, this plan goes right out the window. Now i am really sticking to it regardless how i feel, cause I want to loose that weight.
Christie. I wanted to comment on your weight ticker...good job. I had a great w/e.I did have to work 2-12hour night shifts...Baylor. But I made something of a breakthrough. I only ate the meals I prepard at home beforehand except for the one brownie I had that another nurse made. Previously I would have eaten at least half the plate...am a sneak eater. Sandy
