“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Too bad it is closed. We didn't really have a chance to get the teams notified. Thanks for the info. I won't have to "waste" a team email.,,,,,,,,Eileen

Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner.

Help! I don't see where to vote...! Is there a direct link to the vote page...?

Looked all over the page after logging in...lower left corner, etc...just not spotting it.

Any suggestions? Feeling like a doofus!

I voted. I also tried to post a note for my team and due to having posted one in the past week, I couldn't so sent it to another leader to post . Hoping it gets out to my team as well. The voting for 1st and 2nd (SP) is very close so we need to get the voters out to vote!!

Vote for SparkPeople!
Monday, September 19, 2011

Hi all!

SparkPeople has been nominated (by our amazing members) as a top 5 fitness site by Lifehacker.com, but we need your vote to win #1 (it only takes a second)!

We love when readers get to vote for awards because it gives SparkPeople members an easy way to Spread the Spark and help SparkPeople win, so please help us out -- we're currently in 2nd place!

All you have to do is visit the following link and vote for SparkPeople at the bottom left of the article. One small note that some users said they had trouble voting while using internet explorer, but that it worked fine in firefox and chrome browsers.
