I am fortunate to have a lot of variety in my work. Full time day job: Intensive Case Manager for the severe, persistent mentally ill. Do everything I can to keep my clients healthy and well and out of the hospital. Often while riding around with my clients I'll have fresh veggies in the van with me and share with my clients. Some of them never had red peppers before meeting me and are pleasantly surprised over how GOOD they taste! The majority of my clients are of the fast food, highly processed stuff diet and know very little about home-cooking.
Additionally I have a part time private practice where I am a more traditional therapist.
I enjoy commuting to work on my bike when the weather is good (18 mile round trip if I don't take any pleasant "detours" on the way home). I enjoy going to the fitness center when the weather is poor. Finally jumped into Spinning classes there earlier this year. I have a push reel mower for dealing with my lawns...quiet so I can enjoy my mp3 player while mowing! Our local SparkTeam has many who are doing a local 5K, 1/2 and full Marathon next weekend so I've bitten the bullet and agreed to do my 1st official 5K...running is NOT my thing, but I can jog a 5K. We'll see if the "runner's high" bug ever bites...lol!
