i agree too some strange combos???.........good eye opener though!!! thanks for sharing............
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Don, I tend to agree with you. There were certainly some strange combos. I wouldn't put them together. I want to know the calories as well as fats, carbs, & proteins in products I purchase. One needs to look at the entire picture not a single value.
Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner. Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.

Some eye openers there, but I can quibble with a few...I mean to equate M & M's with sunflower seeds...? Sure the calories may be the same, but look at the nutritional VALUE per calorie of sunflower seeds! The take-home message for me though is: yep, great nutritional value, but that doesn't make those calories disappear...! Have to be mindful of BOTH! :-)

Just goes to show you, you need to read everything. My husband wonders why it take me so long when I go the grocery store. I read EVERYTHING. Weight, all ingredients and all the fine print. When they boast something on the front of the package, it better be there in the first few ingredients or I'm not buying it. BUYER BEWARE, always. Advertising has always been deceptive and now you have to watch when they start downsizing products in order to make more money with less product.
