When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
I am a 29 year old home health nurse. I am very passionate about my career and find it very full filling. Unfortunately it has not helped me to live a healthy lifestyle. I work 8-10hrs a day, and when I get home I want to spend time with my family rather than at the gym. While at work I am sedentary most of the time driving on average 3hrs a day. I also have a bad habit of not making time to eat so I tend to over eat at dinner. I have been making a conscious effort to take along foods that I can snack on through out the day that are healthy and filling. I have cut out all soda and "fancy" coffees and have started to see progress. Exercise is still a struggle.
