Hi TJ - Great to meet you, and it's super that your daughter is so involved with your exercise program. It really does set a great example & I've read so much about good habits creating a healthy body image. Girls can be made to feel so badly about themselves from the media...
So Good for you! And BTW - for your work with the FD. I owe my life to rescue workers!
T.J..............so nice to meet you...........wishing you well as you acheive your goals...............blessings and hugs.........lita
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results. When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world Breathe in love & compassion.. Breathe out peace & forgiveness. Pacific time
I'm 30 and work in pre-hospital care for an F.D. I have two great kids, one 4 year old girl and a 9 month old boy. They are the loves of my life and I want to make sure they have the healthy mind set I was never given as a kid. My daughter LOVES working out with daddy. She's doing air squats with me, goes through the motions when I'm using weights and loves all the bonding time.
I've been on Spark for a while but I've just now gotten to the point of getting a true handle on my health. I've got my eating under control, I'm doing semi-regular exercise and feeling really good.
Anyway, just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone..... so, HI!
No matter what, you have to be true to the man in the mirror. Decide ~ Commit ~ Succeed
