Worked today and put out Halloween decorations. They havent been out in over 4 years. When you're 270 lbs, who wants to climb up and down basement steps? Well, climb I did! And bend, stoop, lift. I also cleaned out flower beds, swept the porches and side walks, trimmed bushes and burned debris. The best part about yardwork? You can't eat while you're doing it! ROFL

I'm on a mini-vacation. My kids had Friday off so we headed up to Madeline Island, WI. We had to take the ferry to this largest of the Apostle Islands within Lake Superior. I'm trying to avoid overeating like I usually do while traveling. It will be back to work Monday. :(
Crazy busy what with the hurricane, the hospital on lock down for 4 days, no power for more than a week, 400 plus email messages during that time without power, going out of town for 4 days. My goodness. I finally caught up yesterday. Hope everyone else is doing well.

My life gets very busy but I believe being here..tracking my food..reading ..is keeping me focused..I am the Queen of procrastinators..and I frequently fail to follow through..I am making the committment to make this site an important part of my day..It's what's keeping me accountable.Good day or bad day I'm going to be here.With over a 100 lbs. to lose this is now not a diet but a lifestlye change and I'm not silly enough to believe that I won't slip and eat something I shouldn't or give in to the inner voice telling me not exercising today is okay...but I give myself permission to do that but I also promise myself that the next moment Iget right back on track..it's just a pit stop..rev that engine and keep moving forward.Have a great day everyone.~~~Gail~~~
