Phyllis you have a wonderful husband but the truth is we all must eat to live not live to eat. I reduce my food intake and eat more heather.

My problem was that I love fruits and veggies and was always eating them, the only problem was that I was also eating a lot of rice, pasta, potatoes, and sweets. So eating all the fruits and veggies in the world, didn't make up for the fact that I was overeating in the other stuff.

My story is that my husband used to tell me that it didn't bother him whatever weight I was, as long as I was happy with it, but if I was going to moan about it, to do something about it. So I didn't moan!! Great excuse. By the way I have come to look forward to eating my veggies,

If it weren't for spices such as oregano, thyme, etc, I would STILL hate veggies. Adding these makes them more palatable for me. So, in a nutshell, every & any kind of veggie was non existent in my eating plans-------but not anymore.

Oh yeah Daz, have to watch both output AND input...for sure! We can't defy the laws of physics...at least not YET! :-)

I've always taken a low-carb approach to managing my weight and have to admit to falling into the widespread trap of believing if I kept the carbs low I could otherwise eat whatever I want...

Yeah, riiiiight! :-)

Since joining SP I've learned to love my veggies, which has been a critical part of my success. I graze all the time...but make sure the majority of my grazing is veggies.

emoticon Hi team,

Before I found SP I would ask friends and associates how to loss weight. It was a fact that I had a membership to a gym and I would exercises when I could, so that was not a problem. I asked a lot of people and one of the main answers was I always got was. If you go to the gym and work out for an hour and drink a lot of water you can consume all the food that you want and you do not have to worry about a weight problem.

This is far from the truth. What is your Sunday horror weight lost story?
