i was going to post a long rant about socio-economics but i think the majority of the people that can 'get' that article prob already understands the implications of mass marketing, corporation and media exploitation, and the trickle effect onto the poor.
thanks for the article. we all need articles like this to help ourselves wake up and to see the effects on not only ourselves and loved ones--but on the majority of the population.

The question about the real price of food should be rephrased: Is it worth sending cheap, poisonous food to the starving masses?
Once one realizes how toxic "conventional" food is, it doesn't look that inexpensive.
