I use a similar site called MapMyRun.com. It uses maps or googleearth or both, and saves my preferred routes. I'm also such a wimp I need motivation to walk, so I then plot my total miles walked and go to another site to see how far in Middle Earth I would have walked and enter it in the Walk to Rivendell challenge. Where I have not even got out of the Shire yet. And now you know all my dirty secrets.
That is soooo cool. I walk around my neighborhood. The first time, I came home and drove the route to see how far I had walked. Now I can vary my route and know how far I walked without using precious gasoline! It took me a little bit to catch on, but once I figured it out-- well, soooo cool!
Thanks for sharing the site!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose. --Romans 8:28 (NIV)
thanks so much......great site............do wish sparkpeople would have a similar type of program............
“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
