Thanks for the "shot in the arm".
I'm praying and God won't let me down. He is in control and I'm not...He may have an entirely different plan for me but I need to follow his lead. I don't actually believe that "all things happen for a reason", but I DO believe He is here in the midst of all adversity. I don't get stuck on the "whys" anymore, that's a waste of time. I'm gonna stay in my peaceful zone now and let it ride. Have a great weekend.

Thanks, Hope you don't mind my trying to recruit some help here. My contracting supervising OTR had a conflict and after tomorrow I'll be without an OTR and unfortunately that means no work for me for awhile. I am hoping to stay at the current clinic as they really like my work and there it is not about me at all... My contract boss said if I chose to work both places there will be no hard feelings. Things are kinda up in the air right now...But I'm trusting with the help of my higher power I will be ok. God knows I have no control and "Control is only an illusion. I have "turned it over".

I am working in outpatient hands, I am a COTA and I need a OT for "Evals Only", for a job, as I am losing my supervising OT at the clinic where I work.The owner of the clinic loves me, my patients love me...I am in my element there.

I am an occupational therapist, but I work in Connecticut. So great to see OT on the boards. I just discovered this sparkteam today so I joined. I did traveling OT for 5 years and was in Louisianna, that's the closest I got to Florida. What setting do you work in? I work in outpatient, hospital based, doing hand therapy. I am alot less physical in my job as opposed to when I did rehab type settings so it didn't help my waist line. I really like spark people, it has helped tremendously. I started last month. Just wondering if OT's or COTA's that posts here are from the Ft. Myers, Port Charlotte or Naples, Florida area?
