Jack LaLanne is 93 yo now and in wonderful health. You know he trained to be a chiropractor rather than go to medical school, because he wanted to prevent illness rather than just treat it.

welcome,DOCWALKER..............so nice to meet you .......you have come to the right place.........sparkpeople have so many tools to help everyone become successful..............wishing you success with your goals for 2008...........lita

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Hello and welcome aboard! Good luck getting started achieving your goals - we hope that SparkPeople can help!

I think you'll find lots of other health pro's who share your pain on this team!

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. " - Michael Jordan

I'm a chiropractor and one of my patients told me about SparkPeople yesterday. So here I am. It's a bit overwhelming with all of the available information on the website, but thanks for having the health professional section. I think sometimes it's more challenging for us because we know better and are "supposed" to be healthy. I look forward to using SparkPeople.
