I purchase most of my vitamins and the PGX through Amazon. I compared their prices to my local CVS (drugstore for those of you unfamiliar with the company) and Amazon has the better prices. I also get the chance to see reviews from other people who have taken the supplements to see which manufacture they like better.
If you are willing to wait three days for shipping it is free and no tax depending on what state you live in.

I'm planning to compare the list of vitamins, minerals, supplements in the book to a few lines of vitamins I know to be good quality and see how close I can come. Thanks for your comments below about what your experiences have been. will let you know if I find something really close to the quantities on the list in the book.
Hi guys. Well, found the PGX. If any of you have ever eaten shirakaki noodles from the Asian market, then you've already had the stuff they're made from. I live near the layger city of Knoxville, TN, and it turns out all the health food stores there carry PGX.
I found that the biggest problem I had swallowing the pills was the smell from just two of them -- my nasty multivitamin and the fish oil capsule. So I just take them straight from the bottle instead of adding them to my pill box, and all ia well again. -- Claudia
Kimbright, thank you for the heads up on the shell fish in the supplements. I am allergic and would not have even thought about it until I was in trouble. Not that breathing has been affected yet but I look like I am badly sun burn and then the first layer of skin peals off, yep very attractive for at least a week!!!! LOL
Scifimom, sorry you are having trouble getting down all the vitamins and supplements. Sounds nasty. I already take about 15 meds a day adding more pills is a bit daunting. I had not looked for the PGX so it is nice to know that I might have a problem getting it,
If all you had was a few blue cheese crumbles was your moment, heck you are doing great!
Keep going ladies it is great to hear how you are doing!!!!!
Watching salt intake also trying not to buy foods that have high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.
No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.
If an item has more than 10 ingredients I put it on the Do Not Buy List as it is too processed.

Hi! I'm having trouble with the vitamins although I do have quite a variety of them. I have found the PGX to cause more problems than it is worth. I have a very sensitive system so it immediately gives me cramps and I just don't feel good after taking it. If you want I'll send you mine! LOL
I have a shellfish allergy so I was getting sick when I took my vitamins (hives a nausea). I found out that at least TWO of them had shellfish derivatives in them so just be careful to read the fine print.
So, all and all, the vitamins have not been my favorite part of this plan. I do like everything else and I have been doing really well. I take one or two vitamins at a time so they aren't too harsh on my system (and keep them in front of me at work so I remember to take them)
Look forward to what you will gain by eating well, not what you are giving up in order to get well.
Is anyone else having trouble finding (not to metion swallowing!) all those vitamins and supplements?
After a lot of shopping, I've been taking the basic list of supplements this past week, although I still haven't found PGX locally. Today I consulted the oracle of all knowledge, AKA Google, and was able to find a store in nearby Knoxville that supposedly has this miracle fiber. I plan to go buy some tonight after dinner.
Other than that, I have been having more energy recently, even in that late afternoon doldrums, so that's a plus. I've only strayed from the path a few times (that salad was just BEGGING for some blue cheese crumbles, just a spoonful...).
