How long had you had that other inhaler? That ruling went into effect a long time ago. I know I have been paying that for mine at least for the last 2 years. Ask your doc for samples. If you don't have insurance, shop around you may get a better price. Good luck
Whatever theings are true, whatever things are noble whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.
I just went to the pharmacy to get a new inhaler, and got a massive case of Sticker Shock!
The cost went from an affordable $10 to $50. The new EPA regulation about inhalers (elimination of CFCs in the gases) caused a JUMP in the price - but still the same meds, just a different delivery gas.
What a rip-off - just because there are now no generics available, asthmatics get hosed!
I'm contacting my Congressmen house.gov and Senators senate.gov to request that they find a way to get this price jump eliminated - perhaps they could grandfather the patent, and rule that the change in gases doesn't change the patent time.
