Hi everyone. My weight loss goal is 15lbs within the next 8 weeks. I want to improve my lung function and breathing especially when I exercise. I am hoping that starting yoga again will help with this.
ultimate goal is 135- 140 the when is, what i dont know. as long as i keep in a decreasing mode things will be okay, i think the goal equals a size 14. would really like to see the belly smaller than the boobies. short term goals is to not gain any of the pounds i have lost prior to the winter season coming in. can i do it, august and september were horrible for asthma and it was the worst i have ever experienced. with the help of the the people in sparkpeople yes i can do this.

My ultimate goal is to be at 130 lb. by 7/23/12. I just joined the Fall 5% weight loss challenge, so my short-term goal is to lose 8 pounds by 11/19/11. Asthma is much worse in the winter, so we'll see how this goes.

My goal is to be at be 182 by start of 2012. Currently I am 214 and started this journey at 230. My asthma is mild and intermittent and the severe asthma I experienced this summer I believe could have been avoided had I not been carrying around all this extra weight.
This weight must go (like a clearance sale...lol)!

Good to have you and best of luck in reaching your goal. So far since the middle of April I am down 19 pounds and my next goal in another 20 pounds by August 30th. Ready to get started and reach my goal weight.

Hi..... I just joined this team which is why I am late adding my comment. In 2011, I hope to make significant progress towards my final goal, as I go on holiday in February and want to be pretty much at goal by then. So I guess I'd like to lose at least 25kg by Christmas.
I want to finish out the year at either 15-20 pounds lighter than I am or at a size 12 pants, whichever comes first. A reliable 14 would be good. I'm currently afraid to dry my size 14 skirt because it only just fits.

I have not weighed in 2 years, so don't really know my weight "goal", but I would like to be down at least 3 sizes this time next year. WHEN I follow my exercise and nutrition goals, this will happen! As for asthma, who knows! I am hoping to have better lung function, less of a problem when exercising and finally be able to take more than 3 flights of stairs without getting winded (and needing to use inhaler). For some reason stairs and I do not get along. I can use the elliptical for an hour, no problem, but sometimes even a flight of stairs gets me huffin. So, that is my goal, to take stairs without the use of an inhaler. Hopefully this is possible... Otherwise, I have my asthma pretty well controlled, know the triggers, and know how to keep it under control. Mostly.
The power to change, the courage to do, the will and drive to be exceptional lies within me, and by leaving my fears, my doubts, and my excuses behind, I embrace all that lies within me.
i was 168 in april of 09. I still had 25 lbs to go when i got pregnant. now im 188. My final goal is to get to 140, but until then i am just trying to get to 175 by the end of may (for a wedding), i wanna get pregnant again after summer, so if i can get down to at least 168 before that happens i'll be happy.
