My year is going to focus on gaining control. I understand there is much in my life that is out of control right now and so my husband and I will be focusing on the 2 main elements we can control. In particular: 1. meal planning instead of ad hoc "I feel like...". This is going to be the toughest since I love to cook on the fly. 2. Time management through a family calendar that focuses on family time, couple time and general well being.

well guys iv'e got to get plenty of weight off get fitter this year my new doctor is having none of this i cannot do it from me got the dear wife in to make the point. So here i go im doing south beach as a couple of years ago did it and lost nearly 50lbs so it does work. My bike will have to come out of retirement and i use my daughters wii fit.
My goal is to eat better and to be more active. I've been on meds for asthma a month now and feel normal. I haven't felt this good since Aug 2005 when I had breast cancer and treatment. So here I go again this time making a huge effort to be healthy again. Jackie
My goal for 2010 is to continue to improve my health. I am back on prednisone for another month for my asthma and a bad infection. After that, I plan to work hard at weight loss. I would eventually like to maintain my weight at under 200 pounds and I am sure it will help my asthma too. Bee
Hi all, My goals, hmm...that's still a hard one of sorts cos I'm good on the long-term (get down to 70kg and size 14) but I keep stumbling on some of my shorter term ones (don't drink soda and get enough protein). Yet, I like to be positive that I've quite Coke that's allowed me to lose 4kg and 10cm from waist and it's taught me about my junk food habits. Amazingly, I've stopped all McDonalds and my new fav fast food is Subway (ie tuna sub). Goals: I signed up for Bootcamp for additionally motivation and ideas. I'm trying to do some of the team challenges (calorie counting only brings me down and I'm not a huge believer in scales but rather size). 1) keep working on increasing my protein 2) working on portion control 3) exercising daily (especially cardio) 4) REWARDING myself (this is very important and I'm still figuring it out): I think go to movie, buy new DVD/book/music, go travel somewhere. Kinda long but I'm also trying to get myself up to reflection, as well as cleaning up my sparkpage and sparkmails:)

My main goal is to get back below 200 pounds once again and getting an exercise routine going again. I stay so busy with kids homework and keeping up with my baby that I have to make some time for me as well which is very hard to do. I have to get my routine back in order for January.
