I went from 4' 11 1/2" to 4' 11". Have to go to Dr. today. Will ask her to measure me again. My weight gain has been pretty gradual. From, hysterectomy in 1992, shattered kneecap in 2000, blockage in my bowel in 2003...all those nice surgeries that keep you flat on your back and then unable to exercise for awhile. Also, I have asthma, so have to watch the type of exercise I do. BUT, I am hanging in there and have lost 16 pounds since January 1st.
So, just hang in there and remember, we are all in the same boat...we will do this!!

I am 61 years old and until 59 I was a size 08/12 but suddenly for no apparent reason I started gaining a tremendous amount of weight and am now an uncomfortable size 18 and have shrunk from 5'4" to 5'1". Has anyone else had this problem.
