When difficulties come one after another it is so hard not to see them as connected. You both must be exhausted from dealing with so many unfortunate events all at once. I will keep you in my prayers and am sending you (((hugs))) to comfort you.
Lynn your daughter must be devastated and yet filled with a new life and the joy of knowing that some part of her loved one is still with her. I hope she can see this as a blessing.
Cherly, I will continue to pray for you and your mom. I am so glad she has full mobility and am confident that she will overcome the pain and get some rest. It is such a blessing that you are close enough to be with her during this time.

So sorry for you loss Lynn and hang in there with all the srress. In our family it seems like with it rains it pours with everything coming down all at once. Today we took mom to therapy and found out the pain pump they put in did not even give her a drop of medicine for pain. No wonder she was in so much pain at the hospital now. She did really good with her therapy and has full mobility of her arm. She has got her exercise done for the night and I helped her with her shower and meds and she is resting again.

I will with keep all of you in thoughts and prayers and let me know how your daughter is doing. Does She know about how far along she is and the due date yet?

Cherly - I have been under too much stress this month. My daughters boyfriend was killed in a motocycle accident on the 6th and now she is pregnate. My asthma hasn't started up yet but I know as it gets cooler it will start up.

Now that the stress of your mom's surgery is past maybe you can get some rest. I always need to get in a steam tent to clear my head but maybe the rain bringing moist air will be enough for you. Take care of yourself so you can be strong for your family. Remember the old poem:
Dust and cobwebs go to sleep, I'm caring for my family and families don't keep.
Let the house go for a few days and take care of the most important things in your life. Love and hugs, dear one.

Well I made it through but the cold is coming on full force. Headache, sneezing, stopped up head and the full works. We have rain here today so maybe after that clears out I will feel better. High today here in the upper 60's so alot cooler at least.

Take that inhaler with you in the hospital. The air in there always is filled with things and you are already stressed by your mom's condition. Take care.
I hope everyone one on the team is doing well this fall and enjoying the change of season color. What a beautiful world we live in!

I have the stopped up nose and sneezes today so I feel the cold coming on. YIKES! I had to use the relief inhaler last night. My chest felt so heavy and tough breathing.

Prayers for you and your dear mom, Cherly. I think any weather change is a challenge for me. The windy weather of fall is the worst because the pollen from the mountains comes toward me rather than the sea breezes. Ahchoo....

I can feel mine beginning to start but haven't got to the relief yet. Sinuses are starting up and a tremendous headache yesterday from rain moving in. Tomorrow it will be rough and I know I will have to use the inhaler because Mom is going back in for shoulder surgery and the smells of the hospital always trigger an attack. Wow Sue! That some crisp morning temps there and for me I can breath easier in cooler weather than in the humidity. I am ready for them to find their way here.

Had my DH run the furnace while it is still warm enough to air out the house after. It always smells so bad the first time it runs after the long summer. I was at work and he was home alone so it was a double blessing for me. October is always a challenge for me. High winds and cooler temperatures. It was only 48 degrees this morning. Really felt like fall for the first time, today. Keep those inhalers handy, everyone!

Temperture is finally starting to fall some here in So Cal, and my asthma is starting to act up a little. I had to use my inhaler this morning. First time in awhile.

I'm doing pretty good. My asthma usually starts acting up this time of year as well but I'm making sure that I don't forget to use my maintenance inhaler and that is doing the trick. However, I am moving in the next few weeks and its going to be colder there so I'll have to keep a close eye on it.

I haven't heard from some of you in a while and wanted to touch base with all of you. How are you doing and are you struggling any or getting better.
I have had a few struggles and used the relief but not to bad for it to be fall. I am excited that the allergy shots are helping that much. Usually I am really having problems around now but this year doing fairly well. Also do any of you take flu shots?
