It does depend on the quality of the pedometer.. I bought mine on Amazon after doing research on it and it is hard to add steps onto it that aren't actual steps. I'm sure it's not 100% accurate, but it's pretty decent. I use an Omron that also calculates Aerobic steps along with distance and calories burned.. although I don't trust the calories burned.

Depends on where you got it from. I usually buy the sportsline from Walmart and I usually get one that covers the display on it. I have to be really careful with the other because I tend to reset them all the time. They also have some good ones at Target too. Good luck.

I BOUGHT A PEDOMETER BUT IT SAID I DID 10000 STEPS FROM MY APARTMENT TO MY MAILBOX AND THAT ISN'T RIGHT SO I LOOKED AT IT YOU WOULD BARELY MOVE IT AND IT WOULD SAY YOU WENT LIKE 100 STEPS HOW ACCURATE ARE THE PEDOMETERS ANYWAY THE STORE DID NOT WANT TO TAKE IT BACK THEY SAID THAT IS HOW THEY WORK! emoticon

I love wearing my pedometer everyday. It lets me know how active I've been just doing my everyday stuff. Yesterday I did 8771.

I had a good weekend, thanks! Raced on Saturday morning (race report on my blog), theatre in the evening, a very pleasant day. I got dragged around the shops on Sunday and then the DW and I had a 14k run on Monday at part of the Half Marathon training.

And now I'm back at work. Sigh.

I faired pretty well myself. I helped my sis do a major cleaning by mopping, vaccumming, and pitching loads of trash. I also helped her rearrange some of her furniture too but still not done yet. I also did my house too so I clocked almost 20,000 steps.

My back is funny like that. I had it happen once after a heavy night of dancing at the end of July. It only lasts a day thankfully. Now if my nose would stop running ;). Thankfully, my asthma hasn't been acting up.

The weekend was nice and relaxing. I got in an hour of cardio on Sunday, but did too much and ended up having to take yesterday off due to my back. Back feels fine today, so I'll get in my usual 30 minutes. I admit I ate too much low nutrionaly food this weekend, but I didn't eat as much as I used to which is a huge improvement.

This weekend was great. Got to spend time with my kids. Got exercise in which was great. It's muggy around here in Florida but the symbicort that I'm on is helping a lot. We bbq'd yesterday and I stuck to my goals.
