Yes Erin mine are the same and red again. I don't think the pink eye is back because it is not scratchy on the eyelid but mine are watering and stinging from allergies too.
I will start the May thread. As us can see I forgot.

I know it is May, but I don't see a May Chit Chat thread going...

Oh spring, how I love and hate thee. My kids just want to be outside all day but my allergies just can't take it. I have zyrtec that helps with the sneezing my eyes are just non stop watering. Makes my contacts roll around and it is hard to see. Anyone else in the same boat?

Hello ladies and doing lots better now. I still have a little redness in the eyes and have to wait on the contacts but eyes and sinuses are much better and getting rid of all of it. I hope that this week can get back into the groove again. I get so tired of getting sick but maybe this will be what it takes for me. I wish all of you a great weekend and take care. Sue I am praying for your SIL and keep us updated.

Hello all and doing better this morning with my eyes. I can see again without it being fuzzy to prsise God for that. I am still coughing some but the antibotic seems to be helping to break it loose. Just woke up from a nap and hope to get the day started here. It is supposed to be in the upper 70's today and really pretty. Going to make the most I can but have to stay out of sunlight due to my eyes. Wishing you all a great day and take care.

LOL! My little dog loves to catch the lizards! They make her crazy in the summer. She loves them to death!

Man what a great cat to have. The one I have outside will go after anything so far but not seen a snake yet to see if he will go after it. I just hope and pray he will kill lizards. I can not stand those things and despise them worse than a mouse.

Girl that kitty must be tough!! I hope you gave him an extra treat! emoticon .

We don't have any pets I am extremely allergic. But we do have neighberhood cats. Their are a lot of trees in our neighberhood also which in turn means squirrels. I have watch them both because acrobatic, those cats come very close to catching squirrels but the squirrels doge them everything. On the cats best pouncing days those squirrels out fox them.

I have 2 cats that are inside ones and 1 outside cat. The hardest part is I am allergic to pet dander but put that off compared to the mice problems. Also yesterday outside my window was a lizard and that's another thing I can't stand.

Oh Cheryl be careful. Give those cats a good rub behind the ears for keeping the critters away!

When we live with my father-in-law years ago he had mice and they were bad in the fall/winter. The worst experience I had was when I was cleaning the kitchen one day and opened the drawer and one jumped out at me. I froze and was shaking and screaming but nothing came out. Hubby said I looked so funny...lol.

I bought a cat when we moved to our new home because we had field mice due to the fields around our home. My middle girls have had rats for pets. They were really great pets and everyone loved them. :)

Yeah mice in the boot, you win!

Today is a day off school for my kids. We are going over to a friends house to play and then later I'm off to the Y.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

LOL! I would have been screaming and trying to find something to climb onto! I am such a wimp when it comes to mice!! LOL! I wouldn't sit on my sofa for months when we had our mice. I was afraid one would come between the cushions and get on me!

The biggest laugh I got was the ones left alive and watching them crawl out of the boot. Massive foot odor I imagine is what got them. emoticon

Pix I must say that your definitely a brave soul and I could not have them in my house. I won't even let my kids get a hamster either. I catch mine on glue pads most of the time then toss it. I have an even better story. My husband had some rain boots on our north porch where we store junk and the kids wanted to play in the snow one day so he went and got them out. Mine you that they are insulated all around. A mouse got under the insulation and had babies and he did not know and put them on not feeling them due to the insulation in there. When he took them off and set them on the porch two of the babies came crawling out like the were drunk and couldn't walk straight and immediately the cat caught them. Then I looked in the boot and took out the lining and the mom and 2 more babies were in their dead where he had already squashed them. I couldn't stop laughing the whole day.

I've got a good one for you. . .A long time ago when I was in High School and my parents still lived in Barre Town I went downstairs to get something from the basement. I get all the way down the stairs and see something wriggling, trying to get away from me and scares the cr@p out of me. I go screaming up the stairs "there's a mouse, there's a mouse!!!" Down my fearless sister goes to find that the poor thing is actually a bewildered frog stuck in our basement. How's that? They haven't stopped laughing at me yet. lol

My gross mouse story...

My husband was cleaning out his car and found a dead mouse in his left over starbucks! The sad thing was his car was already relatively clean, any other time and that little mouse would have a lot to choose from.

We see them in the garage occasionally and never in the house. We have two cats so if one did make it in it would be in trouble!

I don't deal well with them at all. I had one last year and I got a trap (I didn't have to look at it after it went in) and I caught it. The only problem was it was a mother and her babies were running all over my house. I finally got rid of them and got cats! So far not more mice!

I wanted to start a board just for us all to come to and chit chat and will try to start one for each month. This morning was one of those morning for me with a mouse scare and cats running around every to catch it. I certainly hope they did because they run under the bed and I wasn't going under there to find it.
