Hey there! Can I join in? I just picked up a pedometer last week and I'm trying to get in anywhere between 6 and 10,000. I know that's a lot, but the less active I get, the harder it is when I try to be. With my new medicine, I seem to be doing much better. (No more prednisone!!!) Hopefully if I get myself into better shape I'll stay that way and be able to feel the results in my breathing too!

Hi, maybe I could help you guys out a bit. There is a group called www.walkertracker.com and it helps you with your steps. The name that I used there is Golden-Angel. I hope that this helps you. Good luck

I forgot to put mine on till almost lunch. I got up and done my 30 walk tape with it on though. Yesterday I did not do so hot. I barely had 2500 steps but I had a doctor appt to and did not get to walk like I wanted to. Hopefully I will do better today.

I'm in. So far this year I have average 5000+ a day. I also belong to a group called walker tracker. It reminds you to track and write down your steps every day.

Nothing like a brain fog! I meant to write America on the Move, but the fingers had a different idea. Much to my shock, I did manage to complete the UK National for the second time! I should move up to a higher level, but it worries me that I won't make it!

That's great and I hope we get more. I am a co-team leader of Married Life and am always doing challenges with them and I wanted to start one here too. It really helps the weight loss and motivation and I hope all will try it with us.

Calling all of my asthma friends!!!
I have got to get started back this year with some major weight loss. My asthma set me back the end of last year and I can't let it keep me down or from exercising like I should. I know our last challenge did not work to well but I hope all of you will participate with me and post daily the amount of steps you do even if you did not make it. I need more support in this area and hope some of you might help me. I am pledging to do at least 5000 steps per day starting today if I can. I hope that all will participate with me and let's make the most of the new year.
