I use the add feature of the Nutrition Tracker a lot!

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

YES! Picking the one closest to actual values and not the one you wish was closest....slippery slope if you are in a weakened state!! emoticon

I agree with the previous comments and use the "add" tool frequently but if I don't know the nutritional info, I try to choose something as close to what I ate as possible. The problem here is being completely honest and pick the one that is really closest to what you have eaten.

Sometimes I'm in here in front of the computer with food nutrition labels so I can do what JERICHO1991 suggested! I just copy the important-to-me info.
And yes, be sure to add it to your favorites so it's easy to find next time.
Good luck!

Ditto. I enter foods into my favorites all the time, including a Smart Ones pizza I just ate for supper.

Yes on the Tracker right under Search you will see Enter Food Not Listed. I do that often. If it something that you eat a lot remember to save it as a favorite.

If I have a food and basically know the calories and can't find it on the tracker is there a way to post it?

I have my face like flint focused on the goal of losing weight and being healthy. I believe God led me to Spark People and with His strength and the mentoring of this website I will reach my goal.
