my sweet is acting up so I tried the Spark People recipe of peanut butter granola with almonds and raisins. It seems to satisfy the crunch of potato chips and sweet. Something I get as a package deal in the craving category.

Moody, I am so sorry to hear about you having such a rough time right now. I too go through periods where nothing but chocolate and pizza will do. They are my ultimate comfort foods. I hate to say this but sometimes in order to not turn to food, I simply stay in bed half of the day. Working out helps and I would that more often but it is hard for me because of my RA and what my joints will tolerate.
When you have a good day amongst the bad, try to get out and enjoy it. That will help keep you bolstered up for when the tide comes back in.
Take care, Pam

Hang in there!! Life will keep throwing you curve balls and we are here to help!! I'm sorry that you are having such a hard time. Maybe instead of reaching for anything sweet, you take your aggressions out on a punching bag! Or a kick boxing class. Or just some serious alone time deep breathing exercises to re-center yourself??! And, try to remember that the scale is going to go up and down! Mine is the devil!! It always throws me, so I only allow it to "tell" me my weight once a week, first thing Saturday morning. And then, I forget about it and concentrate on how I'm feeling, how my clothes fit and how much energy I have. You can do this!! Stay strong and know we are here for you!

hey, so down today I would love to go have all the sugar I can to bring me out of the bad mood I am in. seems like life will never be easy on me. so hard trying to keep above water and going without ALL the time and getting blamed for ruff times as if it were my fault. KEEP THE SWEETS AWAY TODAY OR I MAY LOSE IT. I PROMISE TO TRY HARD NOT TOO. especially since the scale says I gained 4 pounds. WHAT, yes as hard as I have been working at this too its letting me down. that's my life.
