Thought I'd share a simple recipe that can satisfy an ice cream craving:
Freeze some bananas for an hour, and pop them into a food processor and puree them until you got yourself an ice cream consistency. Sounds plain, but the flavor is unbelievable.
I haven't tried using a blender; plus it'll most likely turn it into cold chunks of banana. A processor is your best bet. This isn't really a new recipe, but I recently tried this for the first time thanks to Blogilates' healthy ice cream cookie sandwich on YouTube.
Try it out! You won't be disappointed

Best of Luck,
"If you always put a limit on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them" Bruce Lee (1940 - 1973)
Another tip: Sparkpeople is featuring the recipe for three cheese macaroni and cheese again today. I can tell you from past experience that it is delicious and that the sauce can be used for other things. I have used it on baked potatoes; to make broccoli cheese and cauliflower cheese soups (just add veggies, lowfat milk, and puree) , and as a cheese dipping sauce with whole wheat bread cubes and apples. Very good!

Believe in Miracles. Forgive Everyone. Life is not fair, but it is good.
You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
Mistakes are the portals of discovery.
Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.
I made it through today with no sweets and no cravings. It was a busy day and I chewed mint gum starting about 30 minutes before my cravings usually hit. HOWEVER: I made this up for tomorrow's lunch out of tonight's leftovers: Chicken salad from left over rotisserie chicken, slivered toasted almonds, quartered grapes, pomegranite seeds, chopped apples, chopped spinach, and plain greek yogurt. I am looking forward to lunch tomorrow. I think the sweet of the apples and grapes will be just what I need. Then I can snack on celery for the crunchies.
I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it!
