Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.
I just came home from an amazing candy store that is only in Oregon, Cranberry Sweets. My grandkids and family in Texas were on Facebook today and were talking about what they do when they visit us. One of those things is going to Cranberry Sweets and having their favorite fudge flavors. Chocolate, chocolate with nuts, cheddar cheese and a new one this year, pumpkin pie. Huge yum factor. So I went to Cranberry Sweets and shipped out all their favorites and some "Winkies" (that's chocolate covered Twinkies).
Bottom line, I tasted only one VERY small piece of the pumpkin pie fudge instead of all of the flavors. There are samples all over the place in the store. It was a great exercise in self control. Not sure I would have done so well if I hadn't joined the challenge. WooHoo!
