From what I've heard...A glass of wine is ok. If you've had breast cancer, you should only one glass every other day.

Jacebel-my new favorite is 2 C mild greens (bok choy & collard greens), with 1 C frozen pineapple, 1 small banana, 1 small (very small) apple & 1/4-1/2 C Cilantro. I know the cilantro sounds weird, but mixed with pineapple it is to die for.

As others have said, one glass a day is fine. From what I understand though, red wine (one glass) is thought to be the healthy one, with antioxidants and whatnot. White wine has lower levels of the healthy stuff. (I think it's antioxidants...now I can't remember haha.)

Balanced with what else you are eating, a smaller glass sounds like a good option here!

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

How about a smaller glass?

Measure how much wine you are really drinking and how many calories is in each glass.

Everyone so far is telling you that a glass of wine a day is ok. And it is. Everything in moderation. I really don't feel that this challenge is telling you that you can not have anything sweet. It is trying to make us aware of all the sugar that we are ingesting and to cut back on the amount. Sugar is not the evil here. It is how much of this we are putting into our bodies.

I was told that having a glass a day was healthy and ok to have but no more than that. I could be wrong but that my doctor said it was

I love wine (pinot grigio) . I drink three or four glasses through the week. I know its not a sweet but it still contains lots of sugar, as if it were a cupcake. How can I tame this??
