I love flavored creamer in my coffee...I have been buying the sugar free, but it does have a after taste. I do enjoy a good cup of coffee, so this is a tough one for me...drinking coffee black just doesn't appeal to me.

I love flavor coffees a lot! Usually Mochas. But, I feel it is not the same as creamer. I wish I could get used to the coffee flavor, but I like the taste of a "latte" and will add flavored creamer to get the bitterness of coffee out.

I use a flavoured cream at home and recently noticed that my coffee seems too sweet. yesterday, I made a cup with just cream - no sugar. It was just perfect. Today at work, using regular cream, I needed to add sugar. I knew that those flavoured creams have sugar but never realized just how much! Dropping the sugar at home may be a small victory, but I'll take it!

I used to use 2 tsps of sugar in my coffee but since I started this challange I have been decreasing it by 1/4 tsp a week down to 1 1/4 spoons and doing fine. You might check the calories in those flavored creams. If they aren't higher than what you are using you might be able to eliminate the sugar altogether. I don't think your coffee is your only problem either, by the way.

My reason for joining this challenge is so that I can eat healthier. I can exercise self-control when it comes to sweets, however, my biggest challenge is using a substitute in my coffee. I enjoy regular sugar in my coffe. I consume at least 2 cups a day using 2 tsp of sugar and power creme in each cup. My husband "strongly" suspects it contributes to my weight...I don't agree...but who knows?
