Had a baggie of frozen sour cherries in the freezer at the cottage. So... took a generous 1/2 cup of the cherries, with a dash of cinnamon, 2 scoops of the Vi-Shape powder, almond milk and a couple of ice cubes. Tastes like cherry pie a la mode... The skins on the cherries don't blend in entirely so you do have a little chewing action - which... if you're missing chewing... is a good thing!

Okay... I'm putting this one out there because Thomasz told me it's good and worth a try but... if anyone tries it let me know... He put two scoops of the powder with a cup of multigrain cheerios and almond milk in the bullet and blended together. He said it's a little bit chewier than some but tasty and has 'staying power' (Sean... might 'fill' you up more!)

Cookies & Cream (oreo)
- 2 scoops vi shape
- 300ml skim milk
- 1 tbsp Oreo pudding mix
- ice cubes (optional)

The Oreo puddin only adds 55cal & .5g fat. If you use the Jello brand mix the serving size on the nutritional info is for 1/4 of the package which by my math is 4tbsp so ensure you adjust the numbers for your tracking purposes.

I was also trying out some other recipes that might be 'easier' for people travelling... meaning they wouldn't have access to fresh fruit etc. One thing I tried that tasted pretty good was adding crystal light. I used 1 cup of skim milk, ice cubes, 2 scoops of Vi-Shape powder and one packet of the Lemon-Lime flavour. Tasted kind of like a creamy margarita. It is also good for those days when you know you're going to eat a bigger dinner and want to keep the calorie count down because it's under 200 calories.

We had some apples in the fridge that we picked this past fall and instead of throwing them out, we made some unsweetened apple sauce.

Mix about 2/3 cup of unsweetened (you can by unsweetened apple sauce if you don't make your own) with a pinch of cinnamon, 2 scoops of Visalus Shake Mix (the shake mix that tastes like a cake mix) and top your bullet with almond milk. The resulting drink taste like apple pie with ice cream.

This is a keeper for me! Total calories are around 320.
