Really appreciate the positive input . Just completed the dvd . Was able to do the majority of it . When bouncing movement was involved had to just keep moving . Re: bad knees . Had tried a dvd from Bob ( Biggest Losers ) was it was a little easier on the knees . One day at a time ....Susan

Thanks . I can use all the one on one support I can find . I'm tracking my food and going to start a weight training work out / dvd in order to boost my metabolism . I dont know if you have a Ollies near you but I picked up a Gillian Michaels DVD for around 3.99 . What I am trying to focus on is that I did not give up and actually am getting back on track ,exercise and all .

Welcome! I agree with Tema. The site has so many wonderful things but if you try everything all at once, it is overwhelming. I started rather recently myself and started with logging food and weights. i have finally expanded some but still have so much to learn. I stuck with this one team in the beginning so I could have a little more one/one support. It really helped me... (thanks Tema) and I am finally being a little more honest with myself, and open with my spark friends. Just be active on the site, don't miss logging your foods. It will be great for you!!

Hi , I finally decided to take an active part in Sparkpeople . I guess it is just not easy to open up like this for me soooo here goes . I m 53 a stay at home Mom with a wonderful supportive family . The weight came on after pregnancy . My love of food made it a free for all . I miss my old life . I have been struggling for twenty years and need to live a happy healthy life . Like many I can be my own worst enemy . What I really need is any motivational tips ,inspirational words anyone can offer Thanks !
