You leave your stove on while you're away from home?
or did we get confused . . .
are you speaking about an electric crock-pot or a stove top or oven crock??

They are good for most things...I like it because you put everything in the pot and turn it on (Low if i am away from home for a long time) and go throught your day at dinner time it is all done. We like the Banquet Chicken and noodles...I just need to add either a bread or crackers for hubby. This is a meal in itself, just add 1T+2Ts of water and in four hours it is done...that is great. emoticon

emoticon I have a 4 quart crock. i also have a small one and a half quart pot that is electric. I like that one very much. However it is not a crock pot. I intend to get a small crock for myself as I have given the small ones to all my single friends and family I know. I like the idea of having it just for hubby and I. that is a great idea.

How many crockpots do you have?
I have 3; one 1 1/2 Qt.
one 4 Qt. and
one 6 Qt.
I love the little one now that its just my husband
and myself! It makes it easier to make just enough for one night and not waste food or have alot left-over to tempt me!
