I'm not really familiar with the crockpot trio. But you said you have a 1.5 quart crock? Or is it one that is 1quart and one that is a half quart?
Anyway, I have a 1.5 quart crock. I've used it for gingerbread and pumpkin spice lattes. I've used it to take leftover beef from a roast or leftover chicken and making shredded barbecue for sandwiches. I've cooked small amounts of dried beans. I've made chicken taco meat in it and a small batch of meatballs in spaghetti sauce.
Hope that helps at least a little!

I thought there would be lots of ideas to your question. I would think, though, that you could cook soup in one, the entree in the next, and the desert in the last. (Or maybe a side, the entree, and soup.) I shouldn't even be responding because I know NOTHING about cooking in any form.
I'll keep checking on this, though. I'm curious.
